Finally in New Owners Hands.;

　* Time Flies*

With my husband's big help (who used to be a bank clerk) all the procedure has been done and finally my parents' 46 years old house safely and officially in the new owners hand today.   We have a saying "光陰矢の如し" which is the equivalent for "time and tide wait for no man".   I remember my parents' happy faces, especially the Japanese style garden with big pine tree which my late gardener uncle created for us as well as the brand new house.  

I'll visit their graveyard and report this to them tomorrow.

                     I  wish to tell you that I have had busy days.

Plus having trouble with soft for post card which my pc has in advance.

Traditionally, we send New Year Cards in Japan.

Birthday Flower and Greeting;

＊Birthday Flowers＊ 

This week, we had one of my cousin's birthday party with delicious lunch and refreshing chitchat♪  I asked the arranged flower for her at the Flower-Shop where we used to go for special occasion. To my surprise,  I found the GORGEOUS big flower similar to Cotton Rosemallow at her own house-side.  
The old lady-owner told me its Japanese name and added; as it was gifted by her daughter, really preciousfor her.   In English, "Swamp Rose Mallow"　

She called the flower "america-fuyouアメリカ芙蓉;  American Cotton Rosemallow" 

Through PC,  I learned the flower is Native to North America. Always fascinates me finding these interesting naming differences between the 2 languages♪

One of my old classmate friend invited me to a short domestic travel from 21^st.  

And plus other miscellaneous tasks before the trip :-)  I WILL do my best to catch 

up with as many friends as I can till then♡♡♡

Greeting and Sakura of Early Flowering;

*Two early flowering Cherry Blossom*

I happened to find these blossom late last week; first one along the Koto river,  second one near my husband's friend's shop when we went there to buy things for ladies in return for Valentine chocolate :-)

This pink one is called 'okamezakura'オカメザクラ（Prunus incamp cv. Okame）.  

Flowers are characteristically downward-facing.

This white one is called 'sanbagawa-fuyu-zakura' （三波川冬桜）

Hope these flower make you feel Spring is coming around the corner.

Thank you SO much for all of your sweet comments♡♡♡ My job 'at my late parents house' mostly to help fetching things for my husband who has handicap with his legs is finally over. Even though he still says same work left p;-) 

From tomorrow, I will be on a trip until Monday with my old friend. We were talking about this trip last year's Autumn to celebrate our becoming 60 years old. It had to be cancelled due to my sudden eye surgery.

So sorry for my long absence for my Dear friends. I wish I will start visiting you and linking sites in the middle of next week.
