Chestnut Tiger Butterfly (Parantica sita)

    *Chestnut Tiger Butterfly "アサギマダラ, asagimadara"*

The other day, my friend took me to the next city's hillside of the mountain, where the flower they love "Hemp Agrimony; hiyodoribana,ヒヨドリバナ " is cultivated.

This particular butterfly travels through the Japanese archipelago from north to south. Spending summer cool "Hokaido" or "Tohoku region" and when temperature starting to go down, heading south to even warmer "Okinawa".
This was my first chance to see this rare butterfly. Unfortunately, there were only 5~6 of them flying through the flower. But thanks to my friend, it was a great experience enjoying this graceful butterfly under the blue sky. It was hard for me to catch the moment they parked on the flower, p;)
*Here is the picture page of that beautiful butterflies*
I was glad to be able to introduce them to my friends♡

  2. Simply beautiful, my dear friend! Butterflies here are in the middle of their migrations from the north to the south, into Mexico, and since we are so close to Mexico, we are right on their path. Love seeing them, and I've never seen any like yours~
