Cherry blossoms "part 2." Flower viewing 花見 in 2013

These pictures were taken last Sunday at our park in my city.  People were enjoying to stroll and have lunch under the cherry blossoms. I felt warm seeing old, young couples and families having splendid time together admiring flowers. Especially little children's bright faces were wonderful♡♡♡  I felt really reminiscent when I was with my parents when young; and feeding the swans we used to have (400 of them are no longer here due to the bird flu). Instead, I found just two ducks(^^;)
As usual, I think enlarged pictures may slightly better, friends p;)

I DO hope you all are having wonderful week, my friends.

Cherry blossoms "part 1" in 2013

(posted; Japanese culture page)
Cherry blossoms from a couple of places close to my house. Flowers were not fully bloomed and I wish you to enjoy just the atmosphere of our precious beautiful transient flower.  I know my pictures do not justify the beauty of them(^^;)
Almost all the schools have Japanese cherry trees so that the new students can enjoy the blossoms at the time of entrance ceremony or when the new school year starts.
The cherry blossoms in my first picture is from our cherry tree. The tree bravely survived standing behind my husband's hobby room, after considerable amount of its branches having been cut.

* Next city's park in the small mountain

* River side of Near my father's care-center; very cloudy day(^^;)
I could take him to stroll around here when he was still in a better condition.

*Between the buildings and a girl was enjoying jumping rope
Today (Sunday Night here; Sorry for changing the header bit early) I've been to my city's park, which has a big lake, to take pictures for post "part 2"  p;)
There were many people enjoying "花見 hanami, cherry blossom viewing"

We have 2 kinds of phrases related to cherry blossoms.
花冷え、hanabie  "chill in cherry blossom time"
花曇り、hanagumori  "cloudiness in cherry blossom time"

I wished to go there with my friend but she had a cold, it is true we can easily get one when season changes too.
Take Care of Yourselves and wishing your Easter is or was a splendid one♡♡♡

quick update about father and cherry blossoms

(posted; Japanese culture)
I really wished at least one post about cherry blossoms for the year even though I am busy. I loved these two arranged cherry blossoms as I thought they have Japanese atmosphere in its arrangement.  (all pictures from PC)

About my father
Thank you SO much for the warm comments to my former post about my father. His fever got a little lower and not a critical condition now.  He can react hearing my voice. I have been visiting him every day with hubby and wish him to have free hands at least while we are there. (he tries to take off his oxygen mask and IV).  I am not sure how long it will take  for him to start eating food.
Well, I feel SO terrible that I still cannot read and leave comments for my friends. But I think I will be able to find time and feel up to it from tomorrow, I hope. And may not another post for a while.
I pass the bridge to and from his hospital seeing cherry blossoms on the riverside and I found this picture from PC's my city page, having a bit transient feeling like the image of the blossom.     Thank you for stopping by.

Cherry Blossom Front; "Sakura-Zensen"

Dear Friends;  today I will introduce you about Cherry Blossom Front link
or "Sakura-zensen" in Japanese.
Cherry blossom season has finally arrived in Japan♪♪♪
Sakura-zensen is a chart on map of Japan which the date of cherry blossoms will bloom in spring. The Japan Meteorological Agency records the opening and full bloom of the blossoms. You might think it funny, but in the weather forecast news on TV report the date as well as in the news paper. So we can know when is the best time to view cherry blossoms. The transient beautiful blossoms can be a tiny benefit of being born as a Japanese. Sakura-zensen starts from Okinawa in March and reaches Hokkaido in May. Oh, it is a happy bright coming of spring sign♡♡♡
                                                        Love you always Miyako*
