*Surprised to see Heavy Snowfall*
When I woke up on 9th, surprised to find the world outside covered with snow♪ In my area so rare to experience this much snow fall. These are the scenes from the window of the second floor and our garden was also beautifully covered with snow. It sure was a pleasant surprise to be able to capture the rare scene.
Children were having fun together;
At the open area of the solar system in front of my house.
Took pictures of our garden with covered with snow;
My cousin sent me these pictures taken from her next neighbor;
*Cotton Hat*
These pictures of the roof above with snow were sent by my cousin. Her neighbors roof were like these. And the white hat newly bride (picture was from PC) wearing are also called "Cotton Hat".
I really appreciated her as I've never known how these are called.
*Cold looking Brown-Eared
Bulbul*
I found this birdie the day before the snow fall.
When I saw how it looked, I thought it might be getting cold.
Thank you very much for stopping by ;
I always appreciate your sweet comments
Hope that you had a Good Head Start of Year 2021.
And also hope this year will be full of happiness for you all;

Beautiful snowy scenery! Looks like you had a lot of snow there. Kids must be very excited. I didn’t know bride’s head covering was called cotton hat, either, but it’s fitting :-)
ReplyDeleteBrown-eared bulbul is very cute. He does look very cold! It’s been cold here, too, but we rarely have snow. Wonder if we’ll have snow this winter :-)
Stay warm and safe, Miyako san. Have a great week!
How interesting Miyako~ What happened in your area, we have here today snow in Texas, which my neighbors said rarely happens, and it has been snowing all day:) Not as much has fallen though here,as with you. I can see it on the roof you are showing! Interesting how the snow has wrapped itself around the roof, Even the colors of the bird you captured fits right in! Isn't it strange how kids all over the world know what to do with snow. Many thanks for this fun snowy post for All Seasons! Jesh
ReplyDeleteMiyako - there is something very cleansing about snow. Maybe that is why the color of white is associated with brides. Clean. Purity. Virtue. It is no surprise to me that kids love snow, for they are pure and motivated only by joy! Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday!
ReplyDeleteWe had a great snowfall in Madrid this past weekend as well. We are not used to seeing so much snow, the sights are incredible, almost apocalyptic in some streets since trees have fallen and buses are abandoned.
ReplyDeleteMiyako, Wow that is a lot of snow. I hope you don't have to travel for a bit. Will it melt quickly? It's great for the kids to enjoy as they will remember it for a long time. Thanks for sharing. Have a great week. Sylvia D.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful bird! Oh I love that "cotton hat" snow! I used to live in the mountains and we got TOO much snow. I live in a slightly milder climate now, still in the mountains, but more in farm country...anyway, I had those cotton-hats making their way down my roof every spring, it was really something to see!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful pictures! I agree that the birdie looks very cold, he has his hat fluffed up as high as it will go so he can keep warm! The snow on the roof looks surreal, with those impossible curves going around and under the roof! Have a wonderful winter season!
ReplyDeleteLovely snow pictures! We're having a real snowfall here too.
ReplyDeletewonderful, pure joy for kids.
ReplyDeleteHello Miyako,
ReplyDeleteWow, you did have a lot of snow there, it looks pretty. The bride's hat is different. The Brown-eared Bulbul is pretty, great series of photos. Thank you so much for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, happy Sunday. Have a great new week!
There's always something special about the first snowfall! I do feel sorry for the birds, but I know they have instincts that will serve them well.
ReplyDeleteA lovely addition to 'My Corner of the World' this week! Thanks for linking!
