*Peony Garden from Tokiwa Park in our city*
Peony Garden from 2019, it was a special visit to this garden especially for my husband. He (has handicap with his legs) bought a wheel chair last year and looking for a chance to use it. We went there late last month. I was happy to see him enjoying the peony in the park for the first time.
Let me skip putting the names this year ;-) |
*Dragonflies and Varied Tit*
I posted the dragonflies my husband made here. Some of them were already gone to his friends and neighbors p;-) He looked happy receiving favorable reviews for his work from the acquaintances;-)
♡ Happy to find Varied Tit on the tree in front of my house ♡
Thank you very much for stopping by.
Wishing you will have a wonderful new week;

ReplyDeleteDearest Miyako,
ReplyDeleteWish we could walk in such a heavenly garden full with Peonies!
What a joy to be there and glad your husband enjoyed them as well.

Sending you hugs,

Hello Miyako, I tried earlier to leave a comment, but it went to signing into the yahoo account. Sorry about your husband's leg. Fortunately it does not effect making music, making soba noodles (?) or making the dragonfly sculptures.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers in this park are so lush and beautiful:) Love the varied Tit with its bright colors. All in all, thank you fot a great varied post for All Seasons - have a happy week! Jesh (Junieper_
Miyako - I have always loved peonies for the size of the flowers and the lush foliage. My only regret was that often it would rain hard and knock them down - the stems could not bear the weight with the water. From these pictures, it looks as though they might have bamboo sticks supporting the stems? The Varied Tit is a handsome fellow with an adorable trill. Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday!
ReplyDeleteIt would be lovely to see a garden / park dedicated to peonies. I love the way you protect the delicate flowers from rain / too much sun with parasols. Wishing you a great week Miyako.
ReplyDeleteLovely shots of the peonies!
ReplyDeleteSuch a colorful bird and the peonies are beautiful. I missed the earlier post about your husband’s dragonflies, so I’m glad you showed them again. They are so good. (I remember that he is always happy to find live ones for you to take pictures of, but I did not know he carved them so beautifully).
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty little bird!
ReplyDeleteWonderful assortment of photos.
ReplyDeleteHow nice that your hubby could go with you. The flowers are just wonderful to see and the dragonflies are lovely artwork.
