*Handmade stretch Board*
My husband made this Stretch Board for me about 10 years ago when we saw TV program featuring about the importance of having our back stretched for our health. This treasure :-) had been in the closet since a little later. A few days ago, a doctor was explaining on TV how we can stretch our back exercising by standing and straightening our legs against wall. I remembered this Board and my husband varnished over it looking new, haha.
The screw makes its height can be adjusted. |
So "Thankful" for my husband♪ |
*From the National Park*
Eurasian teal or common teal (Anas crecca). The duck with the
greenish line on its face (left in the picture) is called "American little duck. america-kogamo;" in Japanese. The
pc-site of the natural park said that this particular duck can be seen really
rarely in Japan. Although the pictures were all taken far from inside the
observatory, I was happy to be able to see this sweet duck first time♪
At a really far place we could find 2 nests of "Grebe" . One has little babies there and the other has egg(s).
Another my first bird Black-browed reed warbler from very far But made me happy finding it♪
*Orchid pictures from the City Park*
I still have some orchids' pictures which wasn't posted from The Exhibition at city park some years ago. Let me post two of them here.
Thank you very much for stopping by, always appreciate your sweet visits;.

ReplyDeleteIt’s such a great creation by your husband. It must feel good to stretch out on that board! How lucky you are to capture photos of rare America-kogamo. I love the cool green line! Beautiful photos of the birds! And the orchids are so gorgeous!
ReplyDelete日本は西の方が大雨で大変みたいですが、Miyakoさんのお家の辺りは大丈夫ですか?Please stay safe. Have a wonderful new week xo
Your flowers are as beautiful as their name ))) (just like you!). And the birds!!! Oh my goodness, so many new ones .... I wish I could fly to Japan like that American Duck did! And grebes are some of my favorite birds ... and wonderful you got to see the babies!
ReplyDeleteThe stretch board looks like it would work .... I had trouble with my heels (Achilles Tendon pain) and was told to hang my toes on the edge of a stair step so that the heels hung into the air, the way your picture shows -- it stretched the tendons and helped to stop the pain. I hope it works for your back as well!!
The orchids are beautiful Miyako! And the ducks are so cute, and colorful! Interesting stretch board, that is new to me! Many thanks for sharing these beautiful details of summer with All Seasons! Have a wonderful week!
