Wasn't white Cherry Blossom ;-)

As I didn't have time to create a new header, at first let me post pictures of the Japanese apricot flower with pink color from mid  Feb.this yearI missed to post them.  Sorry for not the cherry blossom ;-)

*White Cherry Blossom or what *
Early this month, we found this white flower while driving. A man who looked like a farmer was working there.  I thought I haven't seen white version of cherry blossom.
I couldn't help asking if these were the cherry trees or not p:-)
To my surprise, actually they are Plum Trees. My first capture of the flowers of plum ♪

*Blue Heron  form Koto-River*

Having heavy rain, we will all miss the cherry flowers.
Such rain is called "花散らしの雨 Hana chirashi no ame".
It means "Cherry Blossom 'Flower' Scattering Rain"
I'll start visiting you soon!!!

  1. Gorgeous plum blossom, much more than our single plum tree had this year, simply delightful.
The heron is so stately, great capture, dear Orchid.
I hope that all the rain has gone now and that you can enjoy the blossom again soon.
    Happy Mosaic Monday, Maggie.

  4. Apricot flowers are very pretty in pink! White plum blossom is very pretty, too. They do have a look like cherry blossom :-) Too bad cherry blossoms are gone thanks to heavy rain. But they are beautiful because they fall, aren't they? :-)
Loved the blue heron walking in the river. Such a peaceful scenery. Have a wonderful new week, Miyako san!

  5. The plum blossom is just as pretty as the pink cherry blossoms. We have a fruiting cherry tree in our garden that blooms white and gives the most luscious cherries, if we can beat the birds to them.
The heron is such a fun bird to observe. I think the great blue herons look like grumpy old men.
    Have a wonderful week!

  6. Am happy you could capture the white cherry blossoms before the rain scattered them! Interesting that they have a specific name for this rain! But I also love how you made the image of the heron so pretty with the light blue around it!Many thanks for sharing all this beauty in nature with All Seasons, Miyako:) Wishing you a beautiful week!

  7. Such beautiful blossoms Miyako! Really lovely to see, they're so delicate aren't they... I can understand why the heavy rain has such a name, especially during cherry blossom time!
The Blue Heron is magnificent - your photos and video are wonderful to see.
My very best wishes to you, take care :D) xx

  10. All the fruit blossoms are just beautiful Miyako. And the heron (and the way you arranged the mosaic with him) is stunning.

It rains like that in Oregon -- even though you know we need the rain it is sad when it knocks the blossoms off the trees.

  13. Dearest Miyako,
Oh, the weather can certainly ruin the beauty of cherry blossoms. We had that late frost and for that reason we had only very few white cherry blossoms this year. Hope it will be okay next year! We always look forward to it and when there is no 'showcase' it is disappointing.
Your plum blossom photos are incredible, you were very lucky!
And the Blue Heron on the Koto River was a great video clip as well. Windy, one could tell.
Sending you hugs and I too am very busy till after May 6 when we perform twice at the local theatre. Lots of practice till than. And doing another dinner this Saturday for friends.

  19. Wow!!! So many beautiful things!!!
Hey! Every once in a while a heron will fly over the area here . . .
and, when I used to ride the train, occasionally I'd get to see one.

It amazes me that I get to see some of your world right here where i am . . . golly.

Thank you for sharing with us.

  22. Hi, Love the photos of the blossom, and the birds too, last week there was a program on UK TV about how the cherry blossom season travels through Japan from South to North, with a bit of wild life thrown in for added interest.
    Take care, Gordon.

  24. Wow, the blossom trees are so very beautiful! We do not see blossoming trees very often here. Apples are the most common one. Even those, I do not see very often. Lucky you to see so many!
