Yesterday(on 30th) in the usual rice-paddy on our way for commodity shopping, I found so many sparrows. They were enjoying lunch just for a short while. I vaguely remember seeing with that large number when little. Surprised me and also a bit happy being able to have a chance for the bird's post ;-)
I even took videos p:-) First one was from inside the car. Its number got increased close to the end. Second one is short from outside with clear image. So sorry for the sound of the wind. It was really windy as you you can see in the videos.
*Fence Topic from our
Preferential Capital*
On our way to our preferential capital to help public procedures for our relatives, I could take a pedestrian bridge and a highway bridge during the drive.
*Gifted pictures of Spanish Jasmine*
Lady keyboard player kindly sent me these pictures of Spanish Jasmine from her garden. Flowers in the glass look lovely♪
*Second Semester starts Sept.1*
I can't say since when, we have these lovely and colorful schoolchild's satchel you can see in the picture. Half a century ago, we only had red one for girls and black one for boys(♡^.^♡) I remember happy having my new red one for my tiny body p:-)
We call this "Randoseru" which is originated "Ransel" in Dutch.
My husband and I both have had cough and runny nose,
summer cold or due to busy days. But getting better (^^;)
I hope you are having a wonderful week, See You Soon;
I am Dutch and I love the Dutch word Ransel :-) Here it once was a squarely type of backpack for soldiers. Today, many students carry their books in a modern version of the ransel. I have a vintage one. When I found the old one of my husband I sent you a photo, yes? Love also the Spanish flower and your sparrows. They are so cute, thes birds. O yes, and thank you for your answer on my question about your eyes ;) Have a fine Week!
ReplyDeleteHello Miyako!:) Oh, so sorry you both have a cold, get well soon. I enjoyed seeing your sparrow photos and the video, and also the pretty flowers. My school satchel was made of brown leather and got very heavy when filled with books etc. Todays satchels are lightweight and so colourful by comparison.:)
ReplyDeleteWe have Sparrows here year round..... lots of our other birds fly south for the winter....
ReplyDeletecute little satchels. neat bridge, too. the first video of sparrows was marked private but i was able to see them flitting among the grasses on the 2nd.

Miyako san, I did NOT know there were more colors and different designs for Randoseru! It's eye-opening for me, really! I wonder if school children get to choose any color they like.
I hope you and your husband will get better soon. Happy September, Miyako san xoxo
the bridge is really neat!

Hello Miyako,
ReplyDeleteThe sachels are sooo adorable. I think Japanese and Korean school kids are the luckiest kids. They have so many fun school supplies to choose from. My son just ordered a few school related items from Japan a few days ago. Have a lovely weekend Miyako. Christa

Wren x
Sparrows are such busy little birds, and so entertaining to watch. Your photos are great.
ReplyDeleteIt's back to school time here, too. Tomorrow is the first day of classes and the students will be filling their backpacks with books and paper, pens and pencils.
Have a happy week!
Delightful post with all these sparrows! Since I've lived more than 30 years in the USA, I vaguely remembered this old-Dutch word ransel. Don't know if the elementary school kids there now know that word. They have incorporated many (Am.)English words in their vocabulary and say "backpack." Lovely contribution to SEASONS - many thanks! and hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteI do hope you are feeling better now. Love the sparrows! Beautiful jasmine flowers. Thanks so much for joining me for Friday's Hunt. Hope you have a great week!

ReplyDeleteThanks for joining the Floral Friday Fotos meme.
Wishing good health to come your way! have a great weekend! Great collection of photos!
ReplyDeleteFunny little sparrows! How neat to see so many of them... the flowers are beautiful. And as for the 'backpacks' which is what we would call those school bags, I would still choose the red one if I were a child! It is the prettiest color there for girls! Sometimes I think we have too many choices!!
