This third, I could stop by our city park to check the Wisteria flower, sadly it must be a bit late and hadn't been beautifully blooming. The first picture is from last year and the rest of them are from this year. You may notice the differences :-)
This Sheltie below was enjoying walk right beside the Wisteria Trellis and luckily I could ask her
mom to take pictures. Oh, how I wish to have this breed of dog! As my Tony (←my old post about my furry baby), surprise gift from my husband, eased my heart after long infertility treatment. Does anyone loved to watch Lassie series?
This lovely 15 years old girl is called Sally. The owner looked like with my generation and as I guessed she was named after the cartoon called "Sally the Witch". I had a sweet talk with the lady owner as well p:-) And the wagtail I found there.
(Sorry that the sound of theme song is loud)
And for the Tex's meme, a bit western style house with fence and poppy with fence from the other place. I wonder if the Trellis can be the fence, haha.

ReplyDeleteHello Miyako, I love the pretty wisteria. And yes, I grew up watching the old Lassie shows and movies. I always wanted a collie dog too. Sally is a beautiful Sheltie. The wagtail is a cute bird and the poppies are beautiful! wonderful post, have a happy day!
ReplyDeleteMiyako, we have a Mountain Laurel bush that would normally have beautiful purple blooms, similar to wisteria, but it was nipped with frost. What a lovely collie dog in your picture. Have a wonderful day, my friend. Hugs from Texas.

ReplyDeleteThe wisteria is beautiful (better last year, but still beautiful this year though).... it made me lonesome for our Oregon home because our daughter has a beautiful wisteria vine in her yard that I never get to see blooming nowadays.
ReplyDeleteThe Sheltie is a pretty dog. I went to read your link about your late fur baby, because that was written before you and I were blog friends. It is late to say how sorry I am, but I will say so anyway. He was a beautiful dog.
Wisteria flowers are so beautiful! I love their elegant color. And what a cute girl Sally is! She's got such pretty eyes and lovely fur. I watched Sally-chan cartoon when I was small. I liked Yoshiko-chan character :-)

The Wisteria is still quite pretty. That little Sheltie dog is adorable. Fun little cartoon you shared.
ReplyDeleteNice house with the fence. Looks well cared for. Those poppies beside the fence are so pretty.
THIS PLANT HAS BEEN PLENTIFUL AROUND HERE THIS YEAR. However, I UNDERSTAND IT IS NOT GOOD FOR PEOPLE WITH ALLERGIES.
ReplyDeleteDearest Miyako,
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely pergola with wisteria blossoms but last year seemed a lot fuller.
The sheltie for sure gave you joy and brought back some fond memories!
What a lovely fence full of evening primrose!
Hugs,
Mariette

ReplyDeleteHello Miyako, I am stopping back to say thank you for linking up and sharing your post. I love the cute doggie. Have a happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteThat is really a magnificent trellis for the wisteria, and they look like a purple cloud in the first photo! It's great you had such a fun time with the sheltie, she looks like a very sweet dog. I used to see the Evening Primroses on the roadsides where I grew up in Texas. Lovely flowers, dearest Miyako, Hugs from the PNW.
ReplyDeleteI'm back, too. Remember the wisteria I put up earlier? It's already turned to leaves. And the tree peony, too.
ReplyDeleteBut there are now clematis and regular peonies coming out to take their places.

Have a lovely day,

Yes, growing up I always watched Lassie, it was my favorite show. Funny how it always managed to make me cry, before being really happy! Great little pup and lovely flowers throughout!
