In the middle of last month, I asked my husband to drive the opposite side of the road from the one I posted the cherry blossom here (last two pictures). You can see the same little gazebo :-) I was happy to see the wide area with lotus flowers in the rice paddy. It sure was a reminiscent memories making wreaths with friends when little.
(hope you can see the long fence along with the gazebo)

Can anyone identify this bird? It was perching very far place, sorry for the bad focus.

I saw many crows were chasing the car p:-) A bit unfortunate that I missed the good timing they were more and close together. I guessed it was a farmer's car (going home) getting ready for the rice planting season.

The paddy full of lotus flowers is really beautiful. Nice fence in the background. Crows are a bit intimidating but I love to see them. They are very intelligent.
ReplyDeleteLovely birds, Orchid. I wonder if that mystery bird is some kind of tit? It looks like one, although most of them do not have white throats.
ReplyDelete~
It's a beautiful little bird; I'm glad someone else could help you because I am lucky to be able to identify the birds I actually see (I love the way bloggers help each other out.) And crows are obviously the same no matter what country. Loud and fearless -- and yes a bit scary!
