Cherry Blossom with Fence and Overlooking Bridge;

 (Sorry for unmatched header, changed for the newer post)

Hi, Dear Friends;
This Monday, my friend and us went up to 'hino-yama. 火の山' in Shimonoseki-City to see cherry blossoms viewing 'kanmonkaikyo.関門海峡'.  We hurried to go there as we expected rainy days ahead.  Unfortunately, it got cloudy and the bridge over the channel connecting with Kyushu got really blurry(^^;)  Just wish you to enjoy the pictures, hopefully enlarging them.  As most of my pictures there were wider view :-)

Street Tree Cherry on our way back from there and found the big one.

 Had lunch at the restaurant along side the channel and luckily had a window side seats.

Same day on our way back home, I asked my husband to stop by the riverside
wishing to check the same trees in my previous post.

I presume you all might be having same busy early spring or autumn season like me.
Yey, I'm free all this afternoon except cooking for my overeating retired hubby p:-)
Catching up all of you after lunch ♫♫♫

  • Thank you very much for stopping by; I always appreciate your sweet visits;

  8. Wow, Miyako san, your photos are sooo beautiful! The cherry blossoms are stunning. And such colorful flowers. I especially love your photo of cherry blossoms branches up close with colorful flowers in the background! Cherry blossoms around here bloomed 1 ~ 2 weeks ago, and they have mostly fallen already.
    It must be so lovely to stroll around under cherry blossoms alongside the river. Have a happy spring day, Miyako san!

  22. Dearest Miyako,
    You surprise us every time and these photos with tulips and cherry tree blossoms look so stunning that I had to see them all enlarged! Thank you very much for taking the time and sharing with us the beauty of your area.
    Haha, your husband sounds like enjoying his food. Be careful because as we age, all sorts of health problems might lure around. Moderation in everything, even though you made me mouth water with those yummy food dishes...
    Hugs,

  28. Dearest Miyako, your cherry blossoms are so pretty! I saw many in Washington DC on my honeymoon, and now I can see lovely ones in Portland, I photographed some there yesterday. The cherry blossoms and tulips are gorgeous. I like the garden at the restaurant too, and photo of the yummy food. Spring seems to be at nearly the same stage here as there. Hugs from the PNW!
