紅葉谷公園 "Maple Leaf park";

Before posting about my trip to 'Kanto area part 2', let me post about the "Maple Leaf Park" I stopped by on 20th.  The park is close to my husband's brother's house in Iwakuni-city. On that day, we went to 大島 'ooshima' to pick up fresh oranges to my cousin orchard (link to my post about it) and I asked my husband to make a detour before going to their house.

   Happy to be able to have chance to enjoy fall foliage

I hope you all will have a wonderful coming weekend;
The day before yesterday,  accidentally undiluted solution of shampoo got into my eyes when I was taking a bath.  I never thought it would hurts that much; I should have been more careful p:-)   See you soon this weekend

Thank you very much for stopping by;

  3. Hi Miyako san. What beautiful 紅葉 photos! Maple Leaf Park is the perfect name for this place!
    I'm sorry about your shampoo accident! It must have been really painful! Once before, I accidentally put contact lens cleaner into my eye instead of eye drops. It hurt a lot!! Never again...

    I hope your husband's teeth treatment is going well. Glad he could continue to enjoy the trip :-)
    Have a lovely weekend, Miyako san!

  9. Dearest Miyako san,
    It is not for nothing that these fabulous trees are called Japanese Maple! They are the best for fall color! We enjoy ours right now in the garden and woodgarden. Thanks for sharing this special Maple Leaf Park!
    Hope you did rinse, rinse and rinse thoroughly your eyes with water and not rubbing it. It scares us as we only got our eyes ONCE!
    Glad you enjoyed your trip and the orange picking.
    Sending you hugs and blessings for the weekend.

  12. So very beautiful, Miyako! I am sorry to hear about the shampoo. I have done this a few times and it really hurts. Now I only use baby shampoo, so if it gets into my eyes accidentally, it doesn't hurt.

    Take care of yourself, dear Miyako.
