I enjoyed the cherry blossoms at a coupe of places in my city.
Today, I just wish to share a few pictures I took.
Sort of different shade of color, although I don't know how they look with your pc (^^;)

wow; this would be so enchanting to see Miyako!! I used to belong to Oriental Stamp Art group some years back, cardmaking so I spent lots of time creating Oriental designed cards and many featured plum or cherry blossoms like these. Hi Miyako san! Oh what beautiful cherry blossom trees! They look so lovely under the blue sky. I love love love cherry blossoms and I wish I could go back to Japan for visit while cherry blossom season. Hard to catch the best time, though, because they don't last long.

ReplyDeleteYou know I was actually planning a trip to Japan to view the sakura a last year with a friend. But that trip got cancelled when I found out I was pregnant. I couldn't bear the thought of being in Japan and not being able to eat sushi and sashimi. I truly hope that one day I will be able to see this spectacular sight in person!
