Last Friday, my husband's band group attended "Camellia Festival" held in next city.
There were some activities & events we could enjoy at the festival, so I'd like to make this festival's post as 3 series. Part 1 is mainly about performances.

We had very strange weather day, rain at times and hail storms for some minutes
but luckily the wind brought us back the sun.

ReplyDeleteWhat a neat festival and I am glad your husband's band was part of it. That makes it even more exciting.
ReplyDeleteThe camellias are just lovely -- and the skies you show look wonderfully blue and warm ... but it sounds like you had a typical early spring day ... changeable weather is part of that season!

Dear Miyako
ReplyDeleteCamellias were my mother's favorite flower, so i always think of her when I see one. I'm happy that the weather cleared up for the festival!
Beautiful Miyako
ReplyDeleteI have always loved Camellias.
They flower all over New Zealand from March starting with the Sasanquas, bringing colour to our cold winter days.
Your husband's band looks like they had fun performing - their costumes look great - I love the hats!
Only yesterday did I first hear about Mochi and I would like to try and make some - would you share your recipe?
It's been nice to catch up with you again - I'm sorry it has been so long but I have been working full time.
Hugs
Shane
