*Mandarin Duck Couple*
I was really happy for this unexpected first encounter♬ We have a saying called "Mandarin Duck Couple". The Japanese name for the Mandarin Duck is "Oshidori", which means "beloved birds". I found this page which has beautiful pictures and great explanation about this bird. I will quote an explanation a little of this bird from the PC page.
In the Orient, there is a special story that the Buddha had once reincarnated as a Mandarin Duck and in Chinese culture there is the story of the “Pledge of the Mandarin Duck couple”. In Japan we have a special love for the Mandarin in art and culture.
Almost overjoyed (♡^.^♡)
Colorful left side is male and right side is female;
