"Chestnut" Autumn Flavor;

*Present from Next-Door Neighbor*
Around this time of the year, my husband and I are both expecting this seasonal gift from our next-door neighbor whose parents own forest "or grove" of chestnut♪   I am sure I had full smiling face when she came with them. Known as "Atu-Chestnut"; from the region in Yamaguchi-pref.

 Chest nut rice with mixed vegetables was also present cooked by the same neighbor.
And I cooked Miso-soup with pork meat with it.

Pealing is my husband's job (˘˘)
Simple Chest Nut Rice I made for next day's lunch;

Seasonal fruits "Pear and Fig"

*Found a Kite sitting on top of the electric pole*
Thank you so much for stopping by and sweat words for the Typhoon.
We prepared a bit for it. Well, It caused a damage in Kyushu-area.
I always appreciate your sweet comments.

    The kite is gorgeous. Amazing he can perch on such thin wire :-)
    Have a wonderful new week, Miyako san xoxo

    Anything prepared with chestnuts is yummy.
    Loved them toasted in the oven, then peeling them while still hot.
