*Present from Next-Door Neighbor*
Around this time of the year, my husband and I are both expecting this seasonal gift from our next-door neighbor whose parents own forest "or grove" of chestnut♪ I am sure I had full smiling face when she came with them. Known as "Atu-Chestnut"; from the region in Yamaguchi-pref.
Chest nut rice with mixed vegetables was also present cooked by the same neighbor. And I cooked Miso-soup with pork meat with it. |
Pealing is my husband's job (♡˘◡˘♡)
Simple Chest Nut Rice I made for next day's lunch;
Seasonal fruits "Pear and Fig"

Thank you so much for stopping by and sweat words for the Typhoon.
We prepared a bit for it. Well, It caused a damage in Kyushu-area.
I always appreciate your sweet comments.

Oooh autumn is here! The chestnuts look shiny and fresh! I wish I could try your chestnut rice :-) The rice balls with chestnuts look so yummy! I’m not sure if I’ve seen the peeler your husband is using. It looks very useful!
