Calligraphy Exhibition and Cosmos;

* Went to see the Calligraphy Exhibition *
Early this month, my husband and I went to see the calligraphy exhibition by "Genyu-kai 玄游会".
The man in the picture is the late former president of the society. Some of the former lady colleagues of my husband are the member of this society.
The works are widely from variety of generations and label of the society.

* Found the Cosmos Field *
Luckily, early this month while driving back from musical instrument store alongside the country road, we found a cosmos field♪  Although there is a cosmos festival by the big flower land now, we guessed that the field must be planted by the local society.
I felt really happy this unexpected "Feast for our eyes"

Thank you very much for stopping by ;
I always appreciate your sweet comments;

  1. Dearest Miyako,
    Lovely photos of the exhibition and of the lovely Cosmos flowers with one odd orange one in-between.

  2. Hope you and your family are safe. We've had a big weekend of World Cup rugby celebrations, typhoon and even an earthquake where we have been in Japan. All looks calm and peacefuk with you though! Congrats Japan on making the quarterfinals of the rugby. We have absolutely loved our time in Japan, wonderful country and people.

  4. Beautiful exhibition of calligraphy. Also the flowers are arranged so beautifully to complement the artworks! The field of cosmos is breathtaking. It's a feast for our eyes indeed :-) Some white/orange/deep pink colors give nice accent to the field of pink flowers. Such a great autumn scenery!
    I hope your area was not affected by typhoon. Have a great new week, Miyako san!

  9. I love the cosmos flower and ours are still blooming in our garden, but how wonderful to see a field of them! The calligraphy event must have been very interesting especially as the participants were of different generations.

  12. So pretty! I love the image and video with the bee. When my son and I go to the Denver Botanic Gardens, he always takes pictures of the bees as well as the flowers.
