*Upside Down Autumn Foliage*
My old friend and I went to Nagasaki-pref. and Saga-prf. in Kyushu area to enjoy Autumn season. At Jyufukuji-temple "寿福寺" in Nagasaki, they offer upside down foliage reflected on Acrylic Plates. Changed from some tatami mats to them during limited Autumn period for us to enjoy ♪
Picture blow is wider view of the left side of the first picture. |
Inside of the Temple |
In Saga-pref., we walked along the path (or promenade ?) at "Forest of Environment and Art". I enjoyed the beauty of the Autumn to my heart content.
Entrance and first Walkway. |
Another reflection of Autumn Foliage to the pond and beautiful seasonal view. |
*Pictures drawn by coffee with spoon*
In front of the other place we were taken during the trip, a man was drawing a picture by using coffee as an ink seeing his mobile phone. What surprise me more, he was using a spoon!!! All of them costed 900 yen. Can you guess what I bought?
Yes; Audrey Hepburn ♡♡♡
*Birds from the tree in front of my house*
Unfortunately, not many (kinds) birds haven't visited yet this year. Brambling and Pgeon. One of the brambling was on top of the leaves ;-)
When we arrived at Hakata-Station, my friend took me the place illuminations were displayed. And also many stores were there. I was impressed by the cute and the varieties of bottles.
Thank you very much for stopping by;
All of a sudden, cold weather attacked around my area.
Hope to start to visit you soon;

Fascinating art using coffee as ink - I'd have bought Audrey Hepburn too. One of my favorite old time stars. #allseasons
ReplyDeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful autumn colors! I love upside down foliage in the first photo as well as reflection on the pond in Forest of Environment and Art! The coffee art is impressive, especially that the artist uses spoon to draw pictures. His drawings are beautiful and amazing. It reminded me of t-shirt I bought long time ago, which was dyed with coffee :-)
ReplyDeleteCute birdies! I hope you have a great new week, Miyako san!
wonderful series of photos.
ReplyDeletehave a great day
Dearest Miyako,
ReplyDeleteWhat a special trip that was with your long time friend.
Wish I had been with you both...
The art of painting with a coffee spoon is incredible!
Your Audrey Hepburn choice is a perfect one.
The bird photos are already showing that it is getting colder, birds are more fluffed up.
Hugs,
Mariette
The autumn colours are beautiful, Miyako, thank you for sharing them with us. There are many birds in our garden these days, probably because of the bird feeder we recently installed. We enjoy watching them. The coffee painting is fascinating - there are so many different types of talent in the world. I hope you have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, color filled images, Orchid. Thanks for sharing. I always look forward to your posts. Enjoy the last week of November.
ReplyDeleteI have read about a famous female Japanese coffee painter, but don’t recall her name right now. So interesting - all what you share, Happy MM.
ReplyDeleteInteresting bottle art. - Margy
ReplyDeleteOh, the first reflection is a modern painting! And smiled at the coffee paintings - innovative idea, hope the artist does not get bored with it eventually. The one of Audrey Hepburn is a nice one! I might have chosen the eagle:) Not many, but you did still find some birds, Miyako! So you can pat yourself on the back (it's here a way of saying, that you did a great job:):))
ReplyDeleteGlad you're back from your travels, and sharing with All Seasons! Have a beautiful week, Jesh
Miyako - the reflection pictures are stunning, especially the first one. How clever to temporarily replace the tatami mat to offer this extra beauty to garden visitors! I am fascinated that someone could create art that intricate from coffee - talent! I am pleased to see someone create practical and decorative items from used bottles - much better than putting them in the trash! Thanks for a very interesting post for Mosaic Monday this week!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you got the Audrey Hepburn art! It really is the most beautiful one! I love seeing the reflections...such wonderful muted colors. Enjoy your week sweet lady! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteNow it’s time for reading… MosaicMonday times! Each Monday a great pleasure.

ReplyDeleteDearest Miyako,
ReplyDeleteI have just had a wonderful trip through Japan. I like reading your posts each time. The colors of autumn in the pictures are beautiful. In Germany, the landscape is already gray.
Best wishes from Germany
