Drum Recital, Birds and Cherry blossom (with sorrow)

Drum Recital
Keyboard player of the band my husband involves,  also plays and teaches the drum♪ In the middle of last month, she held a recital for her students. It must have been a very  rewarding time for all the participants.  Seeing her checking for each students, I realized that the drum needs adjusting to fit the player p;-)

I enjoyed my first drum recital and felt Thankful for all the participants

Birds from in front of my house
These birds were also from last month, when the tree in front of my house still has tree nuts. Redstart was on the concrete block resting for a while ;-)  I thought his back shot was sweet as well.

Brown-eared Bulbul Pale Thrush Dusky thrush

Cherry blossoms
My cousin (45-year-old) who started orange orchard in 2013, past away last week. I went to Ooshima to attend the funeral and away from home for 3 days from Friday.
My post (←link) of his first harvest. The temple where his funeral was held has a great cherry blossom (first pic). I took the pic before leaving.  Seeing his 2 little children and beautiful cherry blossom deepened our sorrow. We could enjoy his delicious oranges only for 5 years.

Pictures below were taken at close area from my house;  I will post some others later.

Hope the new financial year will be a peaceful one for everyone ♪
