*Being Trimmed at the DIY store*
At the one corner of a big DIY store in my city, I happened to see a dog being trimmed its hair. (First Time for me to see ;-) The cute puddle seemed to know what is going on and really well-behaved. And the handsome young man is doing good job (tenderly) for her or him. Although I couldn't see lovely finished style, I was happy to be able to see sweet scene ♡♡♡
Last year on a cultural festival at the agricultural high school close to my house, many cyclamens were being sold. I felt THANKFUL for the students' work and people looked happy buying them.

I have no idea whether he is drinking water or having early dinner :-) |
Picture inside is my tiny yard from early Feb. My husband had a cold at that time and then I caught it from him p;-) As it's the Valentine month, I thought about helping each other; Hope you all will have a sweet Valentine Month with your loved ones ♡♡♡

Just like our dog when he is trimmed:) Nice photos!
ReplyDeleteI love cyclaman in winter - they're so bright and cheerful.
ReplyDeleteI have a BIG poodle and it is amazing how different he looks after I groom him! From rags to riches! I Love cyclamen so delicate. Your frames around the photos are so delicate and pretty too. Talented!
ReplyDeleteLeeAnna at not afraid of color
Thank you Miyako and Happy Valentine's to both of you (and I hope you don't share any more colds). Your home looks cozy in the all the snow ... makes a lovely winter scene. Beautiful bird and cyclamens too. My in-laws had a dog that looked like that one and he loved being groomed ... it was as if he knew he was beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAww cute woofie getting nice hair cut! When I stop by nearby pet store, I often see many dogs in the grooming room. I’m impressed that they all seem very relaxed like the sweet dog in your photos :-) Beautiful cyclamens grown by students and the bird video is so cute! I wonder if he was drinking water or having dinner, too :-)
ReplyDeleteYour garden is beautiful covered in snow! Wishing you and your husband a lovely Valentine’s Day! xo
Hello Miyako,
ReplyDeleteThe poodle seems very content with all that attention!
Such a beautiful collection of cyclamens. I used to have one but that was a long time ago.
Those are very sweet photos of the Thrush.
I hope both you and your husband are over your colds now. The snowy scene looks so pretty! Take care and thank you for your lovely valentine wishes... sending them to you too.
Warm cheers, Sue xx
The cyclamen are gorgeous - my favorite colors are the white, and the light pink one! Oh, you got to know that in the Los Angeles area where I lived for 3+ decades, cutting a dog's hair is a big thing, there are plenty of places where it's done (they go beyond cutting, it is like a make-up makeover). Some dog owners go every month with their dog to have it done! (maybe Hollywood's influence:):) )
ReplyDeleteWish a complete recovery for you both!
Lovely post. Indeed, the cyclamen are gorgeous. I’m glad our dog doesn’t need to be groomed. She hates to have her nails clipped. Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely post, Orchid, love the cyclamen the colours are so delicate. I have a white one in a shady part of the garden which comes back annually, I must go and look to see if is coming through yet. Your posts are always so prettily decorated, a real treat every Monday.
ReplyDeleteHappy MM.
This is a comment for me from "Maggie, Normandy Life".
ReplyDeleteAs this hadn't show up in my blog, pasting it.

Cyclamen are so pretty. I had a poodle when I was younger and I did the "grooming". It's a big job and so nice to find someone who does it with such care. Cute dog, too! Love seeing the birds. Snow in your yard! So pretty. Hope you are over your cold. Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteAlways I enjoy your flowers and birds
ReplyDeleteHappy Mosaic Monday
much love...
Such pretty pots of cyclamen add a lot of cheeriness to February days. I have a pot of pink ones on the table. I'm sorry you've had a cold and hope you soon feel well again. Happy Valentine's Day to you and your husband.
ReplyDeleteIt looks very pretty with the snow covering everything! Love your poodle pics and those beautiful flowers too. Hope you and your husband feel much better now! Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteWonderful video of the thrush! Loved the photos. And what a well-behaved little poodle! Cute shots of him. Loved the pretty flowers for sale too.
ReplyDeleteCyclamens are one of the few flowers that provide me with colour during the winter months.Enjoyed your post. Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteCyclamens have very colorful and showy flowers. They attract attention for sure.
ReplyDeleteWorth a Thousand Words
The red cyclamen is so vibrant - perfect for Valentine's Day! A loving day for you and your loved ones!
ReplyDeleteCute photos of the dog trimming :) Cyclamen are so fabulous plants, but they don't like me - and always get yellow rapidly.
ReplyDeleteWishing you Happy Valentine's Day ❤︎
Dearest Tamago,
ReplyDeleteWow, looking at your photos of the poodle trimming, that is also quite an art and one hopes the y don't ever bite or react aggressive.
Love cyclamen, such an elegant plant with pretty leaves too.
Yeah, what is the bird picking up?
Your photo with the snow inside your picturesque garden is precious.
Sending you hugs,
Mariette
We've never owned a dog that needed trimming, so fun to see these pics!

ReplyDeletebirds need to be eating a good part of the day and also they need water to soften food otherwise they would die. Love the dog images. Have a wonderful weekend.
