*Preserved Flower Exhibition by Juillet*
I was happy to be able to enjoy these beautiful preserved flower with varieties of themes. First picture is the works at the entrance behind the show-window. The biggest work in the center was arranged by the teacher "Mikako Takashige" at the "Juillet".
"Mikako Takashige" arranged two works above and right-side work below as well.
The pottery used for the big work at the entrance is called 'Hagi-pottery'.
Hagi city '萩市' in my prefecture.

*Works with Japanese atmosphere*
"Overflowing Feelings" work for the departed one. |
Right side work "仏花" is for a butsudan (household Buddhist altar) Usually arranged with a pair; |
*Summer Arrangement*
Title of the work below is "Summer Sea" |
*Skylark on the fence*
On 4th, I found this Sky lark on the fence near the rice paddy.
He or she must have noticed me and cast sweet glances ♪
Another problem I had with blogger or else <(v_v)>
My blog's background suddenly got shrunk. I tackled to fix it but it seems no way I can do repair. Just hoping to be able to have the normal size back soon.
Funny that preview and other link pages are OK...

Dearest Miyako,
ReplyDeleteDon't know if your Preserved Flower Exhibition is about fresh, natural flowers that got preserved or just an exhibit where fresh flowers are used in beautiful arrangements.
Love this presentation very much and of course, Japanese have been always very artful in presenting flowers, twigs and leaves.
Your Skylark photos are cute as well. Those big eyes...
Sending you hugs,
Mariette
The flower arrangements you show are exquisite. I love how the Japanese style can be seen. Wishing you a lovely new coming week.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful exhibition! I love preserved flowers. They make a very lovely flower gift which lasts and remain blossoming. I don't think I've seen such large preserved flower arrangements. They look amazing! My favorites are Wafu Bouquet and Summer Sea :-) Also, Overflowing Feelings is very sweet and special arranged for the departed.
ReplyDeleteCute Skylark may have enjoyed modeling for you :-) So sorry you have a new bloggie issue. I do see the background shrunken. It doesn't look bad at all, but I sure hope you can get normal view back.
Have a lovely new week, Miyako san! xo

This is what I see in these beautiful exhibits, and the way you share them is also creative and lovely.
