* Oriental Green Finch *
*Our favorite Saxophone Player*
After we've done New
Year's visit to a shrine, we passed by the cherry‐tree‐lined path on our way back home. Luckily we found Oriental Green Finch, many of them were flying back and forth between the Cherry Trees and the rice paddy behind them ♪

On 15th this month, we enjoyed Jazz Music from the same players I posted here last year and before. It has been about 10 years since we started to enjoy their play. His great talent and beautiful sound of saxophone gave my husband motive to start playing the instrument.
This Keyboard player also has amazing talent. And the drummer who I could only take the reflection on the mirror. |
*Great Arrangement from my friend and the Flower from the road *
This work was done by my old friend who teaches flower arrangement.
I thought the way she put the waves for daffodil leaves are so excellent♪
Sorry I couldn't identify the name of this flower :-)
It's really cold now even in my area. Hope you are not having extreme weather!
I'm starting to visit you; See You Soon.

Good morning Orchid, love your bird mosaics - such great photographs. Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteYour birds are so so cute💕 The flower arrangement is beautiful and artistic... The unknown plant might be some Lamium species! Happy MM!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful photos of the birds! Just stopping by from Mosaic Monday!
ReplyDeleteHello Miyako, so lovely to catch up with you again.
ReplyDeleteThe sweet little Green Oriental Finches look so cute sitting on the tree.
Your jazz night looked like a lot of fun and how nice that it inspired your husband to start playing once more :D)
I love the ballet, and your friend's floral arrangement caused me to immediately think of a twirling ballerina - so graceful.
Such a beautiful flower. It's leaves remind me of those of a type of geranium or pelargonium but I'm not sure at all. In any case, it is unusual and lovely to look at.
Cheerio for now, have a really enjoyable week ahead. Hugs :D)xx
Beautiful post. Love seeing the finch. I love jazz -- the saxophone has such a full sound. Lovely flower arrangement -- talented friend! Stay warm. Have a lovely week!
ReplyDeleteThe birds are so sweet. Looks similar to one I saw here a few weeks ago. Love jazz music. My youngest boy played the sax in high school. Gorgeous flower arrangement by your friend. Warm wishes, Tammy

Thank you for your visit. I'm still catching up after finishing the large curtain in over 100 hours. My left hand thumb and index finger still need to recover... feeling kind of numb.
I'm so depressed because my FeedBurner is not updating my latest post already since January 11... Tried everything and can't get it working correct.
Almost discouraging for posting anything as nobody will detect it.
Sending you hugs,
Mariette
Beautiful bird shots.

Saxophone is a favourite instrument of mine! I am sure it was lovely to listen to this jazz band. I am also a big fan of the cello. I have a lot of albums from Yo Yo Ma and his cello. The finch is beautiful - in shape it is like our goldfinch. The colours are quite stunning. The daffodil arrangement is truly original! Wow! So creative! Have a wonderful week, Miyako! Sending you a hug from Canada!
