First of all, I wish to say so sorry for my absence to you. After I came back with oranges from my cousin, I was busy visiting places and having guests picking boxes.
Despite the situation,my husband told me to check the place we can enjoy "紅葉. kouyou", direct translation of the chinese character is Red Leaves ♪
*重源の郷 “chogen-no-sato”*
This place located "chogen-no-sato" in Tokuji-town, where no longer has citizens. Named after the old priest who contributed to the reconstruction of the Todaiji-temple.
I enjoyed the old Japanese Thatched House with red maple leaves.
I wish you also enjoy Japanese "Beautiful Autumn Nature"
To our surprise, they harvest buckwheat around this place. We had "soba-noodle" for lunch. (for me, my husband's the best p:-)

Stilts bamboo horse made by the Woodworking shop here.
On our way here, we saw harvested buckwheat were being dried.
So Happy for our first chance to see them (not the rice crop).

On our way home, I visited "Rurikuji-temple 瑠璃光寺" I posted several times here. As today Nov. 15th is the Seven-Five-Three festival "Shichi-Go-San (七五三)" ←link to celebrate the healthy growth of the children.
We saw lovely girl with Kimono, her parents agreed the photo taking :-)
*Pictures and the video I took below are for flower and critter (bird) link*
My first (short) video of blue heron♪
Oh, it's 1:00 am p:) Wish to start Seeing You after waking up.

It was a wonderful, so enjoyable post today. Thanks for coming by and adding your link this weekend at I'd Rather B Birdin' for us bird enthusiasts!!
Am stuck on your blog (a good thing, right?) I looked at your video - nice walk of the heron - at the end was a story about the plane of Trump, and looked at that, then my husband looked at it too, then we ate dinner:)
ReplyDeleteBut I love it when the leaves of the trees turn red! And wished they would still bundle the wheat/grain like on your image. It looks beautiful this way. Many thanks for sharing with ALL SEASONS, Myako. Wishing you a happy week!
