*Cormorant etc. from local river*
In the middle of last month, in the usual local river, I've found two types of cormorant. One has bigger size and white line from head through neck. The other is rather small compared to the one with white head line.
They all seemed to be having quite relaxing time together♪
Although the pictures are blurry, I wished to add the flying Egret (^^;)
*Roadside tree and Dandelion*
They are the cherry-trees without blossoms from early this month. Alongside the same river I found birds in the pictures above. After the blossom, we can enjoy beautiful spring green leaves, they all have fallen off now. I hope they can be considered 'Fence' with green color.
*Our favorite way of eating Strawberry*
My husband likes to eat them with on top of the Yogurt. My favorite way is putting them on pudding. Pour some amount of condensed milk makes them tastier.
I wished to post this topic before season is over :-)
I wish you'll have or having a wonderful new week♪
My next post will be a week later.
Having a bit busy golden week, but See You Soon;

Miyako, strawberries are so delicious when they are fresh and sweet. I do like the swan much better than the cormorant. Have a special week!
ReplyDeleteHello Miyako!:) What a great selection of sea birds,on your local lake, including the egrets, and two different kinds of Cormorant was a fantastic find. The tree lined lane is so pretty, as are the flowers.
ReplyDeleteWe like our strawberries with icecream or yogurt, or dipped in chocolate, but they are great just on their own when they are red, ripe, and sweet. Hubby and I have been eating them at every meal,in all these different ways for weeks, and they are our favourite fruit.
Have a good, and happy week Miyako!:)
Hello Miyako, gorgeous variety of birds and photos. Your Cormorants, Ducks and Egrets are all beautiful. I like the tree lined path and the yogurt with strawberries looks delicious! Great post! Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!
ReplyDeleteYou see the simple beauty in small things...and I like that. Karen :-)
ReplyDeleteSuch cute birdies! Looks like they are enjoying peaceful day togehter. I'd love to join them and just watch the flowing river :-)
ReplyDeleteWhen I was small, I often ate strawberries with condensed milk! I also love strawberries with yogurt, too. Speaking of strawberries, I recently got strawberry jam with honey, and it was quite good :-)
Have a wonderful day, Miyako san. Enjoy Golden Week!
Good Day to you Miyako from a kind of cloudy rainy day here in the US. Lovely to see the birds and the strawberries take me back to when I was a child and we used to eat them after we would go and pick some right off the bush. Nice memories, thank you.. Michelle
ReplyDeleteI hope all is well with you. I enjoyed these lovely shots.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots. Hope your week is going well.
ReplyDeleteHandsome birds!
ReplyDeleteYou did well for being so busy. Your birds are wonderful ... I have never seen the Cormorant with the white on it's head. I will have to look it up. Your trees and flowers tell me you are ahead of us on Spring, but we are starting and I am looking forward to the seasonal strawberries too. We can buy them year round in the store, but the fresh, locally picked ... you can't beat them. I like them on ice cream and my Granddaughter likes to dip them in chocolate ... yummm :)As all berries are good for us it is a nice reminder to eat healthy. Wonderful post, Miyako ...

Delicious looking strawberries.
ReplyDeleteYour bird photos are so interesting, I don't get to see comorants up close here, and I like your shots of the egrets with wings spread, dearest Miyako. The strawberries are so ripe looking and delicious, and I like your art work. I like to make milk shakes with strawberries, I freeze the strawberries, put them in a blender, add some lemon juice and sweeten with Stevia, and blend and it makes a frozen slushy. Have a wonderful golden week! Hugs from the PNW.
ReplyDeleteLove strawberries about anyway you use them. They are not in season here now. We get them shipped from California or elsewhere.
ReplyDeleteDearest Miyako,
ReplyDeleteWell, as for the strawberries, I'm with your husband and prefer them also just plain with Greek yogurt!
What a lovely photo collection you show us again. You live in such a beautiful area where there is a river with water fowl and abundant variety of trees etc.
Sending you lots of love,
Mariette
Oh the egret is beautiful. Have never seen one of those in real life. Wished I lived near the water. There is so much to be seen and to love there.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots of the cormorants.
ReplyDeletei like the white your cormorants have on their faces. and lovely tree-lined lane. be well!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the tree lined path and the 2 flowers behind that photo. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteFresh strawberries are good any way at all. We love them. It is so hot here in Florida, so the season is earlier (February through April is best)... then, when we go home to Oregon, they will just be starting (June and July is best). We are very lucky to enjoy them in perfect season twice!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cormorant pictures along with the egrets and the lovely park.
very interesting to see the 2 types of Cormorants together. Have a wonderful weekend..
ReplyDeleteHello, Miyako! I enjoyed the beautiful birds and photos in this post. The two types of Cormorants are a great sighting. Looks like a very birdy spot. Great photos. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteWonderful birds and such pretty green trees by the fence.
ReplyDeleteYOUR cormorants are much more 'colorful' than the ones here in Texas. Great images.

Love the cormorants and cranes, and those beautiful trees! This is such a great time of year, to get fresh strawberries!
ReplyDeleteDear Miyako, your Cormorant photos are wonderful! The cherry trees are lovely and look so lush and vibrant and the flowers are pretty too. I love to eat strawberries. As a little girl we used to eat them with cream and sometimes condensed milk. Thank you so much for sharing this lovely post with Today’s Flowers. I wish you a very happy week :)
