On 24th last month, I found this Blue Heron in the rice paddy. It seemed the same type of blue one I could post several times before. I was so excited to be able to see him really close when he landed on the pedestrian bridge near me. Missed to take the pictures at the lucky moment as he flew away instantly:-)
I loved this lovely back-shot with long hair p:-) |
After being on the watch for me for a while, he flew to the little mountain side behind the rice paddy. And perched on the tree; still casting eyes for me.
His feather looked a bit fluffy busy grooming; made me happy being able to take his different appearance and zooming succeeded♪
It sure was a Lucky Encounter for me♡♡♡
Happy 4th of July to my friends in America☆☆☆

ReplyDeleteHe's such a handsome fellow! Wonderful photos! Have a grand day!
ReplyDeleteI like to see the blue herons in the wild too Miyako, such a sleek bird and patient hunter. Unfortunately they like to come into our back yard pond and eat my frogs. Did you notice I said 'my'? LOL I surprised one this morning when I came around the corner and yelled at it. Once they have been around, it takes the frogs a while to be seen again and so I can't tell if one is missing or not yet.
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking to Mosaic Monday, always a pleasure to have your entry.
