*Workers on the high-tension power transmission line*
*Flowers from my friend’s garden and pomegranate from neighbor*
The other day when we were driving down the little hill for shopping, I saw some workers from Electric Power Co. on the 'overhead high-tension power transmission line'. I could ask my husband to park our car for a while. Amazing to see how they work bravely up on that line tied their bodies with rope. No word but 'Incredible'☆☆☆
No Idea for their work there but truly appreciate it for our convenience; |

Lilies with three different colors and pomegranate's flower flower and fruit from last month. Unfortunately tree of pomegranate didn't seem to have a good year, so I just chose beautiful ones.
I'll have busy rest of the week; Wishing you all will have a wonderful coming weekend♪

So high -scary job!
ReplyDeleteAmazing how you can even make something as ordinary as workers seem interesting with your pictures.
ReplyDeleteHello Miyako, I appreciate the workers of our Electric Co. They are brave to be climbing the towers and electric poles.
ReplyDeleteYour lilies are gorgeous! I love their pretty colors. Beautiful images. Have a happy day!
As always I appreciate and thank you for your visits and comments on my blog.
Lovely flowers and gosh - those men are high up!
ReplyDeleteOh my, they are up so high! Incredible, indeed! Just this week, we had blackout for about five hours. Seems tree fell on and cut the power line. I was very happy when it was restored...it's really inconvenient without power.
ReplyDeleteLilies and pomegranate flowers are beautiful! Bright red and yellow colors give lilies a sort of tropical look :-)
Have a wonderful day, Miyako san!
Miyako, I could not do those jobs in a million years, as I would be paralyzed with fright from the height of the scaffolding. I can almost smell the aroma of the lilies. Have a wonderful Thursday and weekend, my friend. Hugs from Texas.
ReplyDeletei'd never be able to do that job. :)
ReplyDeleteNice shots of the workers, Miyako.
ReplyDeleteAnd such lovely flowers!

Dearest Miyako,
ReplyDeleteYou had a very unique and unusual subject for your camera this time! Wow, I do admire those guys working at such a height. Yes, we only realize the convenience of electricity once it is not there for a couple of hours. We have 100% electrical power so our home feels like being paralyzed when it's off. We can't even flush the toilet as our sewage ejector pump also runs electrical... Makes one think what to do!
Sending hugs to my dear Japanese friend.
Mariette

ReplyDeleteHello dear Miyako, I love the lilies. I'd never be able to do that job. I don't like high places.

WOW! I wouldn't want to be working on those lines! Impressive. Beautiful blooms. Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteThey are brave fellows to be working up that high!
ReplyDeleteThe lilies are all gorgeous but the red really stands out.
Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday Miyako.
That definitely would not be the job for me. Heights terrify me! Love the flowers. -- Margy
ReplyDeleteAmazing! I couldn't do that job either since I too have a fear of heights. If I am enclosed like in a plane then I am okay. Beautiful flowers. Have a lovely week Miyako. xx
ReplyDeleteYes … these are very brave men, indeed, and agile. They look like trapeze artists on high wires.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't be able to do a job like that but I am glad there are workers that are happy to do that job.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, that would have been interesting to watch these guys working.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are so lovely....
I hope you have a great rest of the week...
xoxo

ReplyDeleteFabulous mosaics and oh my that is high working up on those wires!
