These wavy eaves (hope the right word) are the trademark of the airport♪
And I hope that can be considered as a kind of fence :-)

Other Flowers some of whose name I don't know (^^;)
Silly me first realized that there is this sculpture of "Milestone-Pigeon". I thought it can be considered as the "guardian angel" for the safety of the flight.
(Sad that I couldn't take from the front because of the back-light)

ReplyDeleteWhat lovely flowers!
ReplyDeleteWow, the airport is full of blossoms! The place is so beautiful. I love the wavy eaves. They sort of give me relaxation and gentle impression :-) There are some unique looking flowers you've captured. Maybe someone here can tell you what they are. The sculpture of pigeons is very pretty. I agree, they may be the guardian angel for safe flight.
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday, Miyako san. Have a lovely new week!
Miyako, such wonderful flower pictures on your blog today. Have a great week, my friend!
ReplyDeleteThis is a fabulous planting of flowers for an airport, very nicely landscaped.
ReplyDeleteThe wavy things add interest and shade, I'm not sure what you would call them either. :-)
Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday Miyako.
Your city had amazing gardens! Even at the Airport. I love that they take time to make everything pretty. So lovely. The top two flowers in the collage are Bachelor Buttons ( the blue ones) and a hydrangea. I don't know the two on the bottom. The roses are so beautiful and you arranged them beautifully ( in the mosaic).
ReplyDeleteYour airport has such lovely roses and flower gardens. The ruffly pigeon sculptures are cute too. The 4 plants, the bottom row are foxgloves, and Spanish lavender, Lavandula stoechas. Hugs from the PNW, dearest Miyako!
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers! That's nice your airport plants a garden for weary travelers to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are gorgeous. They make me happy just looking at them.

ReplyDeleteThis is such a colorful and happy post. :)
ReplyDeleteWish our airport looked like that. Never saw one with so many lovely flowers.
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers!
ReplyDeleteWonderful blooms on the Airport! Fantastic captures.... I found your blog on Todays Flowers. By the way, I think the name of the Blue bloom in the first pickt is called here Kornblumenblau, the second is a Hortensie, the third is a Fingerhut (be careful with this plant) and the last is Lavendula ....
ReplyDeleteCheers, Heidrun from old town Augsburg
So many beautiful flowers along the way from the airport.
ReplyDeleteYou have sprinkled my life with joy because of all the flowers you posted taken at the airport. Have a nice day!
