Bear me with the several pictures from my popular city park :-)
I visited there around the end of last month. Loved to see the lady who seems to be the regular visitor and heartwarming that father and daughter feeding pigeons together.
The lady had bagful of bread. funny to see craning its neck; The hand in the lower right is my left hand, taking pics with right hand; Seeing no food in my hand, he flew away immediately p:-) |
Bit wider view; same lady still has pigeons on her hands; |
"Hey, are you coming soon? If so, make sure with goodies"

Thank you
very much for stopping by; I always appreciate your sweet visits;
I'll start visiting you tomorrow (15th, Japan time). Busy day with guests :-)
PS. I know not many of you can make use of this.
I had the same issue I had in 2013 (please scroll down). Header's transparent part got all black (used to be ok). Resolved just by lowering the brightness level only from 0 to -0.1 with picmonkey. I tried all I can think of, took me LONG. Seems like blogger keep nagging me (^^;)
i love the birds all flocking around for food. the first shot with all the gulls and only one black crow in the corner is neat!
ReplyDeleteGreetings, what fun you discovered at your favorite park, which is now becoming our favorite place to view photos! Incredible visit by the feathered friends!
ReplyDeleteHello Miyako!:) Wonderful images of so many seagulls and pigeons.
ReplyDeleteIf you feed them, they will come. I started feeding the birds on my balcony, and now I have mice.:( Have captured four, and relocated them in a field far away from the house.:=)
Have a good weekend.
Take care.
Hi, Miyako..I love seeing people take the time to show children love for all God's creatures. Nice photos. Hugs from Texas for a great weekend.

ReplyDeleteDearest Miyako,
ReplyDeleteLovely photos and too bad that your outstretched hand did not yield any 'sitting'... They know what they want!
Enjoy your weekend, hope it is milder now.

ReplyDeleteWow, what great shots! Love the splashes of water as birds flying around. The lady does seem to be a regular visitor and birds might know her very well :-) I love the photo of your hand and a pigeon with his wings wide open!
ReplyDeleteSorry you had issue with header but glad it's resolved. Just adjust brightness a bit..sounds simple now but it's a headache until figuring it out. I hope blogger will be nicer to you :-)
Have a lovely weekend, Miyako san!

ReplyDeleteCity parks are one of my favorite things! Most of us in the world live in cities and it's hard to get out in the countryside... These parks bring nature to us. And your pictures show how sweet and important that is.

ReplyDeleteWonderful shots of these busy birds! I like the one of the lady covered in pigeons! Have a blessed day!
ReplyDeleteThere are many pigeons in the parks like this in Toronto but they don't venture as far north as where I live. There are however, a few farmers around that raise racing pigeons and occasionally one breaks from the flock and can be found in a backyard. They're relaxing to watch, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteThere is always a Blogger glitch of some sort and when it affects me, I hope for the best that the problem disappears on its own.
Thank you for linking to Mosaic Monday Miyako.
It's quite surprising to see how quickly birds appear when they see food. :)
ReplyDeleteA world wide enjoyable thing to do.
ReplyDeleteI once tried feeding pigeons in the park, omg they really climbed to me on my shoulders and head. This is a nice post about people taking care of birds :)
ReplyDeleteIt can be scary when a big flock of birds come at you at once :)
ReplyDeleteLovely bird pictures....
ReplyDeleteBirds are the same everywhere-always happy to eat! Nice to see the children enjoying them!

ReplyDeleteLovely. When you see sights like this in your city park, I'm sure you can't resist taking pictures. :)

ReplyDeleteThe birds in the local park over here always seem to know when a regular visitor turns up with scraps for them.
Beautiful photos!
