Late last month, my friend and I enjoyed the lovely stroll deep inside of the next city's park. There is a bridge called "Bridge of Adventure, 冒険の橋" which is leading to the camping site. We could see some ducks and lots of carps. My first time to see the floating bridge (pontoon bridge). I wish this park located close to my house to enjoy walking and greenery p;)
Not good season for enjoying flowers; skunk vine (left) and hall crabapple (right)
Luckily, I found this wagtail at the exit. Wished him not to have been so alert :-) |

Dearest Miyako,
ReplyDeleteLovely pontoon bridge and you got very lucky for photographing while strolling in nature!
You made me laugh with your sentence you wished it would be near your home.
Distances for us here in the USA, far excede any distance you will 'think' is far away.
When we only go to downtown it is like 5 km!
You probably are already in the next city by than...
Hugs and enjoy summer, rain did stop here and we had some lovely days and we enjoyed our balcony and tea with friends inside the gazebo!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful park! Love the wagtail and know exactly what you mean by wishing he were not so alert. That trait makes it hard to photograph them ... but you did beautifully.
