Flowers of Japanese apricot trees

Early last week, I've been to the park in my city to take pictures of apricot trees. As the flowers were not fully bloomed and I wasn't quite satisfied with my pictures, I hesitated to post for the 'green day' last week.
We have a new slang word "アッシー君.  Mr. leg-ee"; sorry I don't know how I should put it into English and the word describes personal driver for women. My アッシー君 (my husband) asked me if I posted the pictures...  Haha, this was the first time I was asked about my blog from him; he must be thinking his trouble taking me and waiting. Well I did my best to arrange pictures p;)

        Anyways,  it was a sunny day and I found some ladies' group
having  lunch along the lake under the tree.

I'll link this post to 'green day'. I hope you are having a flowery nice week in your corner of the world, my friends;

  10. The photos of the apricot blossoms are beautiful. I don't think I've ever seen an apricot tree and never realized how beautiful they look while they are in bloom. Aren't fruit trees amazing? I wish I could get my personal driver to take me on trips like this. Thank you for sharing my dear little sis. Love always from you bs

  16. Miyako, your pictures of the apricot tree buds are just beautiful.. I love early spring! Tell your husband that he is not alone in driving you to places to take pictures .... mine does the same thing ... often. Sometimes we go out on purpose to take pictures and sometimes when we're out for some other reason (shopping or visiting) I'll see something and tell him "Stop, I need a picture!" He is very patient with me!!
