First of all, thank you very much for all the sweet, warmhearted comments for me on my 10th's post.
Each words brightened me SO much!!!"
I'm not in perfect condition yet and can't eat normally, but doing much better. Tired and sick-feeling in a long time.
9.11 and 3.11 (Tunami happened half a year ago on that day in Japan) were the issues almost all the news-show on TV on that day, and broadcasting about the trying day. Both of the countries' economies were damaged dearly in a different way as well as the people directly affected. In America, a lot of budget had to go for the middle-east problem. In Japan, for the disaster restoration; but its measures doesn't seem to be going smoothly...
I watched these reports without being able to do much anything else.

My Dear Orchid - it's lovely to see you here today, and I'm glad to hear that you are feeling a bit better, if not 100%. I hope you are resting as much as you can. As you say, let us hope that the Harvest Moon does, indeed, bring us all a peaceful new season. Hugs to you.
ReplyDeleteDearest Orchid,

I'm sorry you aren't feeling well. Hope you are eating again soon. I can't believe it's been so long already since the tsunami. I still feel sad when I think about it. The picture of the moon is beautiful. I love watching a full moon. Especially from the beach because it's so open and nothing blocks the view. Feel better Orchid. Hugs!

ReplyDeleteThis seems to be a very tough time for both U.S. and Japan. But I hope worst is over and we are only headed to better. Your harvest moon sure brightened up my heart!!
Orchid, So sorry to hear you have not been feeling well. Glad to hear you are somewhat better. What a beautiful picture of the harvest moon. We had 9/11 and your country had the tsunsami, both devastating to the people and the countries. As you say, I hope the harvest moon brings both our countries more peace.

Hello Orchid, wonderful photo of the moon & yes there wee many blogs about the 9/11 tragedy and also like the tsunami in Japan, governments give costs in dollars, but the real cost is to the families, the individuals who lost a loved one, so many gone & others hurting still, it is easier to break things down in figures for the news papers to publish, but as we know, it is the individuals, each person effected that is the real tragedy.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling well soon, take care & mend quickly :)
I'm happy you're feeling somewhat better and happier still that you're blogging again.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sad for your country to have had this tremendous natural disaster that will have an impact for years to come. I pray for Japan's recovery and for you to feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to hear that you are feeling better and hope that your health continues to improve.
ReplyDeleteThe filmed footage of the terrible damage from the tsunami to both property and the loss of life is something that will remain in my memory for the rest of my life as will the events of 9-11. You don't wittness something like that and then forget it. Hopefully the harvest moon will bring peace to us all. Hugs
