Sculpture Competition and Scene at our City Park;

header of this post

*Biennnale international sculpture competition*
On 18th, my friend and I went to enjoy sculptures at our city park under the fine autumn weather. The competition held every other year (biennale).
(Would you allow me skipping the explanations for each works and please enjoy the atmosphere)

Lovely to see this Mom and Boys sitting on one of the works and enjoying the fine art♪

*Night Scene with Light*
      Thanks to my husband, he took me the park at night on the same day.

*Birds and Flowers at the park on the same day*

I explained about Katta-kun; famous for the relationship with kids in our city here
Unfortunately, they didn't seem to have the feeling of flapping wings p:-)

Salvia Splendens; our city flower with solar clock.

I could still enjoy the flower cosmos that day;

I’m expecting busy week, not posting until
next Tuesday.    BUT, try visiting you!!!
    Hope you'll have cozy autumn week.
          Sorry for the long post.

Hello Miyako, I enjoyed the sculptures. Lovely displays! The deer is one of my favorites. And the ducks and pelicans are great captures. Even the pelican sculpture is cute. The flowers are all lovely. Wonderful post and images. Enjoy your week ahead!

What great sculptures! My favorite is the giant banana - looks like it's got the sticker just like real one :-) And I like the chair with big rock and the one with bubbles, too. Very unique and fun! The night scene is beautiful. Love the deer! People who created those art works must have put lots of efforts.
The photo with cosmos is amazing...how beautiful! Such a wonderful capture of autumn! Have a great day, Miyako san xoxo

Dearest Miyako,
That was a very beautiful display of fun sculptures in a wide range. That kid with the huge bananas. Excellent photos you took and what a kind husband for going back at night one more time!
Thanks for taking these photos and for sharing.
Hugs from Georgia/USA,
Mariette

Oh Miyako, this is such a beautiful post. I'm impressed with the solar clock made with those beautiful flowers (I like that your town has chosen those bright cheerfully-colored flowers!)

The birds are wonderful -- I love pelicans always and all of the birds you show are wonderful.

This is such an interesting post. We have had a similar sculpture show in Sydney this week - but at the beach and along the cliffs. I think I prefer your sulptures though. Beautiful flower shots too.

The sculptures are extraordinary [I especially enjoyed the mom and her two sons and the large deer]. Your birds in the parkway are so picturesque. Well done.
