Egret with Tractor;

On our way home from shopping, my driver husband kindly made a detour driving on the bank (last 3 pictures were from last year, not the same day), hearing my pitiful cry not being able to spot birds p;)   To my surprise, I found the small Egret not in the river but in the paddy field following the tractor seeking for food.
Even far away from the tractor being on the bank, I enjoyed the sweet scene Egret following the tractor eagerly a while for the first time♡♡

Tiny image of crow also in the upper right side.  So sorry for the small Egret...
Seeing the same field with rice crop from different angle;
As the crop wasn't clear, I didn't post this pic last year.
Closer picture of the bank where I was seeing egret.  And the river side.
Thank you very much for stopping by and See you next week;
Have a wonderful weekend everyone;

Dearest Miyako,
That goes to show us humans again how clever those egrets, and other birds, are for following the farmer's tractor in order to snack on un-earthed worms!
Great photos and they always make me think about my home country as Japan has so many similarities with The Netherlands!
Hugs,
Mariette

Egret is so cute following the tractor! Wow, he doesn't seem scared of the large machinery making noise at all!
The pictures from last year are beautiful. Love the rice field. Such peaceful scenery.

Happy Friday, Miyako san! Have a great weekend xoxo

Such pretty fluffy clouds against that blue sky! Cattle egrets are often found in fields near...what else?...cattle! They have a great relationship in the pastures. Wonderful photos and hope you have a delightful weekend too. :)

What strange behavior for an egret! Maybe they feed him often.

Good Morning, Miyako! I loved this image of the egret and "his" tractor! The tractor must be uncovering something delicious for the egret. Happy Critter Day!

I was watching some cattle egrets in the bay just this morning...no need to apologize tho, they're small egrets naturally.

Great images...

Hello Orchid,

How nice to find a hungry bird following that blue tractor. I love your blue skies too!

I had an egret in my backyard yesterday. I saw him catch and eat a lizard.

Thanks for sharing.
