I was amazed with the long white fence with well-trimmed trees with many stones lay-outed both inside and outside. And I assumed that this one-story house's owner must be older than middle aged couple, whose children are married and their hobby would be keeping their wonderful Japanese style garden stylish together :-)

*角島大橋 (Tuno-shima Bridge)
This bridge (1,780m) was completed in the year 2.000 connecting mainland with the island called Tuno-shima of about 900 residents. My husband needed to visit very close place to this island with his acquaintances. I went along with them to see this long bridge across the beautiful beach. Unfortunately, it was a cloudy day. Although I enjoyed the drive, kind of disappointment with all the bluish photos today(^^;)

ReplyDeleteI have to agree with you: my husband is a long haul trucker. I think guardrails are very important "fences". This proves it, too.
that yard is gorgeous with the sculpted trees and huge rocks! and i think the bridge and guardrails make a GREAT fence! and a very important one! :)

ReplyDeleteI love your photos, but I love even more your comments. I chuckled at how you analyzed the family behind the well kept fence. The bridge is a beauty and also well kept. Sadly we have many bridges over here that need to be rebuilt or reinforced, but it isn't happening. Be grateful for what you have.

The bridge is amazing as it spans those beautiful waters. That fence is so much more stylish than most concrete fences. You can tell the owners of that house take great care of it and the gardens.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful bright crisp photos -- Spring looks wonderful in your neighborhood. That older couple is very energetic keeping up that yard. A Japanese-style garden would take so much more time because everything is so precise and perfect. I love to look at it, but would not have the energy to keep it up (nor the talent!). Both fences are great for Theresa's meme. (The bridge one I think is definitely a fence...it keeps people from falling into the water ;>)!
