*This house is located next housing development of ours.
I was amazed with the long white fence with well-trimmed trees with many stones lay-outed both inside and outside. And I assumed that this one-story house's owner must be older than middle aged couple, whose children are married and their hobby would be keeping their wonderful Japanese style garden stylish together :-)

*角島大橋 (Tuno-shima Bridge)
This bridge (1,780m) was completed in the year 2.000 connecting mainland with the island called Tuno-shima of about 900 residents. My husband needed to visit very close place to this island with his acquaintances. I went along with them to see this long bridge across the beautiful beach. Unfortunately, it was a cloudy day. Although I enjoyed the drive, kind of disappointment with all the bluish photos today(^^;)
Guardrail may not considered a fence:-) |

Thank you
very much for stopping by;
Stunning photos of the bridge!
ReplyDeleteAdorei! Muito lindo!! Um abraço, tudo de bom, chica
ReplyDeleteFantastic bridge shots. Yes the owner in that horse must spend a lot of time trimming his trees.
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful fence. Love the bridge!
ReplyDeleteThis is both amazing and beautiful. Wow.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with you: my husband is a long haul trucker. I think guardrails are very important "fences". This proves it, too.
that yard is gorgeous with the sculpted trees and huge rocks! and i think the bridge and guardrails make a GREAT fence! and a very important one! :)
ReplyDeletethanks, miyako!
Beautiful, beautiful views! You are a great photographer!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day!
Beautiful views!
ReplyDeleteMy entry is up as well.
What lovely shots and scenery.
ReplyDeleteI love your photos, but I love even more your comments. I chuckled at how you analyzed the family behind the well kept fence. The bridge is a beauty and also well kept. Sadly we have many bridges over here that need to be rebuilt or reinforced, but it isn't happening. Be grateful for what you have.

What beautifully pruned trees in that first photo! The bridge is amazing.
ReplyDeleteLove your header art too!
The bridge is amazing as it spans those beautiful waters. That fence is so much more stylish than most concrete fences. You can tell the owners of that house take great care of it and the gardens.
ReplyDeleteI like how they arrange rocks and trees together. Looks very neat and beautiful. I love the white fence with kawara on it!
ReplyDeleteWow this bridge is really long. It must be very convenient for people living in Tuno-shima to have the bridge connecting to mainland.
Happy Thursday, Miyako san xoxo
Wow, that's an awesome bridge!
ReplyDeleteHello Miyako, the house and gardens are lovely. They look very well cared for along with the fence. The bridge and views are wonderful. Great shots. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bright crisp photos -- Spring looks wonderful in your neighborhood. That older couple is very energetic keeping up that yard. A Japanese-style garden would take so much more time because everything is so precise and perfect. I love to look at it, but would not have the energy to keep it up (nor the talent!). Both fences are great for Theresa's meme. (The bridge one I think is definitely a fence...it keeps people from falling into the water ;>)!
ReplyDeleteMiyako, I loved each one of these photos! I believe guardrails count as a fence, too. :) The waters colors in the last shot are incredibly beautiful. Love them all!
ReplyDeleteYou captured the essence of that bridge and I agree with the others that your fence "counts" for sure, Miyako!
ReplyDeleteThis is an interesting and beautiful bridge. I would love to cross it. It looks gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteWhat a view from this bridge. I will ask my husband to find the island Tuno-shima in the Atlas and ask him if he visited this island or other islands in Japan. Thank you for taking us along on this trip.
ReplyDeleteThe well kept yard is beautiful with the sculpted wall.
What lovely views and pictures, my dear friend! It would be a wonderful adventure to drive on a bridge that long- I hope it wouldn't make me seasick!
ReplyDeleteEven without bright sunshine, your photos are lovely captures. What a beautiful place, the bridge and that water, oh my such stunning scenes. The house in your first photo is really fabulous.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo's, I love the first one it's gorgeous. Hope you have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love the house with the trees ..... Beautiful... Michelle
ReplyDeleteA unique fence with the beautiful trees and rocks and the bridge is a a wonder...I think it would be most pleasurable to drive over it. Your photos are great.

Dearest Miyako,
ReplyDeleteLovely fenced in Japanese style rock garden and the fenced in safety of car drivers on that marvelous bridge is wonderful.
