crafted candy "飴細工, amezaiku" for wedding♡♡♡

Hi, friends; how is (or was) your hot or cold season. My busy Obon is almost over. I'll be able to have more free time from tomorrow, I hope.
One of my cousin's two daughters is going to get married next moth. The other daughter made this lovely handmade crafted candy flower for the top of the wedding cake. While we were visiting her, she was making test version and my cousin kindly sent me the pictures of the process later.  (This page introduces us varieties of crafted candies.)

*Here is how she made the candy flower*
(she needed to wear gloves as the candy is very hot)

Thank you very much for stopping by. I think I'm feeling a lot better than now before Obon p;)  I DO hope you all will have a wonderful coming weekend♡♡♡
(Pictures were taken by my cousin I.A and I arranged them)
I'll visit you soon♪

Oh my goodness, these flower candies are so pretty! What an amazing craft work! And I'm quite impressed by seeing the link to crafted candies. They are too pretty to eat :-)
Glad you are feeling better, Miyako san :-) I think Obon can be very stressful. My dad said he had to visit ten homes in one day during Obon. Too busy. I hope you can rest and relax. Have a lovely weekend, Miyako san!

Wow, those are just beautiful....too beautiful to eat I think. The wedding cake is going to be amazing.

It is fun to see the creative process... and I know that sugar syrup gets extremely hot!

Dearest Miyako,
Wow, your second cousin (daugther of your first cousin) is very talented!
I do have lots of those Demarle items for making cakes and chocolates and also the very same Demarle Silpat mat but without the recipe I cannot make those lovely roses. Quite an artwork and that wedding cake will no doubt be very pretty.
Glad you got so much of the things behind your back by now.
Hugs,
Mariette

Hi Dear Miyako. What a pretty header picture. My goodness me, making those flowers for the top of the wedding case is quite an intricate business, isn't it?! I bet she was so happy to be able to do it for her sister's wedding though. I'm glad that your busy period is over my friend. Hope you haven't been overdoing things. See you again soon hopefully. xx
