Azalea under the rain and Egret with reflection;

*Azalea as the road side tree*
This is the scene in front of the book store when I went there to buy the books for my students a few days ago.  Although it was raining, I rushed out of the car to take pictures with umbrella :-)
Some people looked at me curiously seeing tiny senior lady taking pictures under the rainy weather.  I thought Azalea flowers are fencing as the road side tree.

*Egret with reflection*
This Egret was fairly close to me in the river from where I was on the different day.
Surprised how skinny the egret in the right picture looked.
Believe me, haven't done anything to make it thinner
for the picture :-)

In Japan, we are having so-called "Golden Week" link, which is the longest holiday season in the year.  Really long consecutive off days.  It's also the family gathering opportunities♪ Wish my immediate family (parents  bro) were alive with me :-)
Hope you all will have a wonderful coming weekend☆☆☆

Super moon and Harvest Moon etc;

      *This Year's Harvest Moon was 27th, and Super Moon (Full Moon) was 28th*

On 28th, after visited two hospitals (for my eye and skin) , I went to the city airport hoping to take Super Moon with airplane. Silly me forgot to charge battery of my camera...  I could use zoom of camera until moon showed up for three pictures below(^^;)   The collage at the airport above was taken by mobile-phone.  My bold  wish to capture the plane with moon background at the time of take-off and landing didn't come true p:-)  The moon of the first picture and third was taken after coming home.

The boy was with fence and I  hope you can see fence with guide light;

       *About Harvest Moon*
In 2013, I explained about Harvest Moon and Full Moon (Super Moon) with two posts link(here and this page) I was excited both day in that year happened to be on my birthday.  I'll skip the lengthy explanation here. Moon-viewing reminds me of moon rabbit and かぐや姫 "Princess Kaguya or The Moon Princess"  which I explained in the links.
This is the 27th Moon.

I could take pictures of Egrets in the rice paddy before harvesting.  I took these pictures on my way home from first commodity shopping after released from hospital :-)

ps,  I felt SO thankful for all the thoughtful comments I had for my previous post. I promise I will return all the sweet visits.  My vision after the surgery on my left eye got a bit distorted but it doesn't seem to be the serious problem. Hoping to get fixed with passing of time.  I've prepared the small things we return for the kind visits to the hospital ans so on. Slowly but visiting you, please bear with me... :-)

Night Scene of Two Temple;

On 15th, I've been to Yamaguchi-city where First Christmas was held in Japan in 1552. Francisco de Xavier(1506-1552) who was the first missionary of Christianity to Japan performed missionary work in Yamaguchi-pref. in 1551.   I DO hope you had or having a wonderful blessed Christmas Eve.
Our capital city is referred as western Kyoto. Let me skip the long explanation about two places I took pictures with night scene.

*Rurikoji-Temple (瑠璃光寺) five-story pagodas*
You can read about this temple from my former post here; and this page also has the night scene. I tried the reflection shot this time.
Here is the link you can read more detail with pictures.

*常栄寺(Jyoei-ji)・雪舟庭(Sesshu-tei)*

  I've posted about this temple with 2 pages this link
Gate and Garden. The light was blue but NOT sure why SO bluish (^^;)
Entrance
Let me add the picture of the garden from my former post just for comparison.
About 500 years ago, the land lord at that time asked Sesshu, who was the monk and also the painter of ink paint, to construct the garden.

I saw Theresa started linking and hurried to write this post after Christmas Eve dinner :-)   I know how unfaithful of me not to return to your kind visits...  Well, finally my personal thing taking up my time got settled and I think I can go back to more relaxed situation.
