This morning around 4:30, my husband was awake and anxiously watching the semifinal game against Sweden. We were happy that Japan could win.
Our team is called "nadeshiko Japan". I'm not sure "nadeshiko" means "maiden pink or Deptford pink". There is a phrase "Yamato-nadeshi-ko" and it implies Japanese women's traditional beauty and kindness. "Yamato" is the old way of calling our country's dynasty.
Well, all the Japanese will get excited to see the game!!! Haha, since I have many friends in America, I'm not sure which team to root for.
