*Went to have Noodle with Matutake Mushroom*
Pine-mushrooms "Tricholoma matsutake" we call just *matutake * grow under the red pine-tree
and really costly to buy. In Japan, we especially enjoy the
enchanting aroma as well as the taste. I heard that TV broadcasted about
this special mushroom recently, so unfortunately there were NO stock
for us to buy, all were sold out p-;) But we could enjoy the Noodle with
this mushroom at the restaurant below.
Picture above of the mushroom is from PC site.
And at the restaurant we visited, Lovely Goat was welcomed us;
My husband ordered "Soba noodle"
I ordered *Udon* Noodle;
It can be cooked in various dishes like flavored rice, simple soup and so on, but grilled matsutake mushroom is the best way to enjoy the aroma.
* Pictures taken recently from Rice Paddy *
Thank you so much for stopping by and your sweet comments.
Hope that you all are coping with the virus thing and staying healty ♪

This must be an extraordinary mushroom. I am very fond of chanterelle, funnel chanterelle and porcini mushrooms, which are to be found in the forest around here.
ReplyDeleteDearest Miyako,
