Solar Light Generating System Construction work (part1);

*Solar System Construction in front of my house*
Late March this year, Solar Light Generating System Construction work started and planed to be finished on July. I've been taking pictures of the process from the second floor window. This wide open space was used to be a neighborhood children's play ground. My husband said that some children sighed him their "secret base" had gone.

I AM really happy that the tree where birds comes from time to time hadn't been cut down.
Only some parts facing south had gone.
One day a shrike was observing the work.

I worried about the influence, but my husband relieved me explaining that the panels won't face directly towards our house.
I will post part 2 after the work finished.
"I wonder what's going on there?"  The Thrush must have been saying ;-)
Thank you so much for stopping by.  I always appreciate your sweet comments;

  2. Wow it’s gonna be a huge solar panel field! Too bad kids lost playground and some trees had to be cut. But I’m glad not all trees are gone. Birds must be relieved :-) Also it’ll generate clean energy and I’m glad it won’t have a negative impact on your residence.
    The photo of Thrush tilting head is so cute :-) Have a wonderful new week, Miyako san xo

  9. Miyako - it is always sad to see some nature destroyed for the installation of a solar system, but overall I am supportive of renewable energy generation rather than using coal. Did they consider installing the solar system on roofs rather than in this location? I look forward to future updates. Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday!

  11. Solar energy might be great but not at the destruction of trees which give us pollen to grow food and trees which provide oxygen.

  18. The tree that hosts the birds is intact is such a relief. I can relate to your worry.

    The solar bit looks massive. So you all will be getting electricity from it or is it for some particular clientele
