Rice Cace "Mocji" making from last year;

*Rice Cace "Moci" making from last year and Zoni*
In Japan, we make rice cake to prepare new year and eat them a lot around year-end and new-year season. Kind of annual event that rice-cake (mochi,) lover husband invite our friends and make them together. "mochi-tsuki, 餅つき" topic again from last year.

  4. Looks like everyone had a fun time making mochi! And zoni looks so delicious. Now I'm craving some mochi myself! Redstart is adorable. Their adorable faces and round bodies make me smile :-)

  6. It's great to have around the beginning of the year traditions!
    On New Year's Day we had our Dutch custom, which my hubby made: Dutch apple doughnuts. They are fried in hot oil, so it would be difficult to share making them with others. But we we our children and grand children drove one and a half hour to come and happily eat them with powdered sugar on top:)

  15. As reported by Stanford Medical, It's really the SINGLE reason women in this country live 10 years more and weigh 42 lbs less than us.

    (And by the way, it is not related to genetics or some secret diet and EVERYTHING around "HOW" they are eating.)
