*Rice Cace "Moci" making from last year and Zoni*
In Japan, we make rice cake to prepare new year and eat them a lot around year-end and new-year season. Kind of annual event that rice-cake (mochi,餅) lover husband invite our friends and make them together. "mochi-tsuki, 餅つき" topic again from last year.
Recent capture of Redstart both Male and female from the tree in front of my house.

It's great to have around the beginning of the year traditions!
ReplyDeleteOn New Year's Day we had our Dutch custom, which my hubby made: Dutch apple doughnuts. They are fried in hot oil, so it would be difficult to share making them with others. But we we our children and grand children drove one and a half hour to come and happily eat them with powdered sugar on top:)
