Performed at the local Nursing Home and Birds;

*Performed at the Local Nursing Home*
Late last month, the band group my husband involves was invited to perform for the cultural gathering held at the next city's nursing home. At the last of this event the elderly people gathered there sang a couple of songs together with the five members. It was a lovely autumn music day.

They played 3 songs sung by Yuzo Kayama (82 years old).
 He is a famous Japanese popular musician, singer-songwriter and actor.
These are the 3 links of the songs sung by himself. AB

Other Performances we enjoyed ♪
The musical instrument on the right picture is called "尺八. shakuhachi"
I thought I should have tapped the sound of it and the way it played.

Birds I could take pictures in the middle of last month;
These pictures were taken from the usual rice paddy my husband takes me on our way or way back from the commodity shopping.
First two birds are Flycatcher and Meadow Bunting

  Thank you very much for stopping by ;
   I always appreciate your sweet comments;

  4. Dearest Miyako,
    That was lovely for the residents of that nursing home!
    Music, especially of that quality, brings so much joy into the life of everyone.
    Loved the three songs in Japanese, familiar tunes but different wording.
    He is a very charismatic man as well.
    Just got home from my 3,108 km driving trip...

  5. Love that the band members all wear hats:) The the ladies in the blue robes, must be doing a popular dance? All looks like a great events for the people they were playing/sing, and dancing for! Also love all the birds you included. Especially the piece of land, where several birds were congregating- guess they were having a good meal there! Many thanks for sharing it all with All Season, Miyako! Wishing you a great Autumn week:)
