Educational Wooden Toys and Oriental Green Finch ;

Educational Wooden Toys
Last fall one corner at the department store, these lovely toys for children were being sold.  I thought I wished to buy the Alphabet one. I no longer have many students, so I held back my temptation p;-)
Gift for New Born baby and Castanets
Alphabet and Japanese "Hiragana" version
I loved this sweet Mom and Children of birds♡♡♡
Oriental Green Finch flying around between a house and etc scared by me
On our way back from commodity shopping on 20th, made a detour around usual vast
rice-paddy area. My husband found a group of Oriental Green Finch was perching on
the tree of the Japanese style house. We were driving the very narrow road of the edge
of the picture below.  I got off our car and slowly got close to them by using the footpath
between rice fields, they started to fly around scared by me.
                  The arrows were the places they flew back and forth.
Left-on the tree of the house; Center-on the tree of the mountain; Right-on the electric wire

I felt sorry for scaring them but also Thankful to be able to see their sweet faces ♡♡♡
Thank you very much for stopping by and sweet comments;
  Wishing you all will have wonderful coming new week

  4. Wooden toys are the best a baby or a child can get! Quite another thing as plastic ones. Your bird photos brought me much joy. Happy MM.

  5. Miyako - the wooden toys are adorable. I like to buy wooden toys since they tend to be more durable - these certainly look to be well-constructed! So many finches in one place - how blessed you are to see them. I especially like the picture of the birds on a wire. Thank you for linking to Mosaic Monday, and have a wonderful week!

  11. Dearest Miyako,
    Wooden toys are always a big plus compared to anything made out of plastic!
    You captured lots of Oriental Green Finches.
    We started feeding our Gold Finches again the thistle seeds, Pieter had forgotten to buy new seeds so we did a week ago. It is a joy to see them feast on it. How do they know? They also must tell others...
    Sending you hugs,
    Mariette

  17. Wundervolle Fotos !

  18. What a beautiful gathering of green finches in the tree. I'm thankful that you were able to stop and see them, then share the photos with us. The wooden toys are so well made. I try to buy as little plastic as possible these days, and am always looking for things for my grandchildren to learn and play with. Have a wonderful week, Miyako.
