*From Bus Terminal *
I found this Cormorant in the river on our way back from the commodity shopping . It started to swim with its wings open.
Our city buses have City Mascot Character. I don't know when this character making started. We call this "ロゴマーク・logo mark". Probably it should be only "logo" in English. In my previous post, I introduced our city's airport. Our city is called "宇部・Ube".
I wonder if your city or region have these LOGO ;-) |
*My First Doctor Helicopter*
The other day when driving behind the Medical College Hospital, I saw doctor helicopter for the first time. My husband stopped our car safly for me just for a while;
I felt Thankful for their work♪
*Flower pics from friend and cormorant *
Lady keyboard player of the band my husband involves kindly send me flower pictures sometimes♪
First picture made me smile ;-) Finding these sweet-shaped plum fruits, she decorated flowers of Azalea; she said (♡^.^♡)
I first knew this Harestail-Grass. Might have seen somewhere p;-) |
So sorry that I haven't been able to visit you, as always <(_
_)> I'll try since this afternoon. The other day, I got a notification from blogger that I couldn't figure out at all. Your comments don't show up in my outlook E-mail page; Comments in posting page is OK. But, I got a little puzzled...

I agree, thank goodness for the doctor helicopters. We live in a rural area with a basic hospital, so we count on the helicopters to fly extreme cases to the necessary hospitals in the large cities. Have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteHi Orchid, love your stories this week, the cormorant photographs are wonderful, what a fab mosaic they make.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful week.
Maggie.
Luv the Harestail-Grass and its name. Thanks for your beautifu Mosaics.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week
much love...
Hello Miyako,
ReplyDeleteYour photos are always lovely, and so artfully arranged with the pretty frames and additions.
I'm thankful, too, for medical services like the doctor helicopter.
I changed my blog format and now, comments no longer show up on my email page, either. I wish they would. I may change back to the other format and see if that helps.
Your husband's musical colleague shows humour and creativity with her photo of plums and azaleas!
Have a wonderful week.
Lorrie
Orchid, it is always fun to visit here. Yes, medical air transport is so helpful and fast!
ReplyDeleteA very interesting post. Fantastick with medical air transport.
ReplyDeleteIt's been strange not getting our comments in our emails. I hope they fix that soon. LOVE that pretty plum fruit and the flowers. Neat to see those big buses too! And that cormorant posed for you my friend! Beautiful pics! Stay safe taking pretty photos! Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteInteresting collection of shots.
ReplyDeleteYour city mascot is very cute. Love his beret :-) Great photos of helicopter. I’m thankful for them, too! I’ve seen the landing spot but haven’t actually seen doctor’s helicopter itself. Photos of flowers are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the photos of a bird swimming with wings open. That is so cute :-)
Have a wonderful new week, Miyako san xo
Those medical helicopter pilots and crew do good work. The cormorant is drying his wings. I learned that from a birding group I belong to...they don’t have oil n their feathers like ducks do and their wings get waterlogged. Your friend sends you beautiful flowers and you take beautiful pictures.
ReplyDeleteI heard from another blogger friend who is having the same problem you are,. She did not know how to fix it either, but I tell you so you know you are not alone ))
My favourite is the harestail grass.
ReplyDeleteI see our medical helicopter often flying over my home, the hospital is nearby (my cat hate it!).
With the comments it is a global problem, I think, I have that too, since last friday. Blogger has stopped this function.
Greetings from Germany

ReplyDeleteNice smiling guy on the logo :) They intend to make the company's imago user friendly, maybe. The photos of cormorant are impressive. It is a bird that is not so beloved in our archipelago because they get numerous, are messy & noisy. But handsome he is - I have never seen. Your flower sending friend has good humour :) Wishing you a lovely week Miyako.
ReplyDeleteMedical helicopters are such a good service!
ReplyDeleteHello Miyako. How nice of your husband's friend to send lovely photos that make you smile. ..Michelle
ReplyDeleteHow does a doctor helicopter treat patients? Is the helicopter just a means for the doctor to be there fast? That is wonderful anywhere, especially in cities with traffic.
ReplyDeleteThe cormorant pictures are lovely and I am glad someone explained he is drying his wings.
ReplyDeleteI am glad you mentioned that you are having the comments problem - I thought it was just me!
We have those medical helicopters in my rural area. They have saved many lives! Thank you for linking up today.
ReplyDeleteHello, I like the cute logo on the bus. When my son was young he had an accident sledding on ice and was put on the medic helicopter to the hospital. The hospitals are a 30 minute or more drive in a car. I am thankful for this emergency team and the medical helicopters. Great captures of the Cormorant. I see them on our lake sometimes. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend! PS, thanks for the comment.
ReplyDeleteGood.
ReplyDeleteLoved the cormorants and the flowers! I hope you never have to see a rescue helicopter for any serious reason...just the casual view suits us all fine, right? :-)
ReplyDeleteWe're all having the email notifications not showing up ...
