*Strawberries Picking*
Late last month, my cousin invited us to do Strawberries Picking. It was really an enjoyable time. Not only enjoyed the taste of the strawberries but the scene of the Honey Bees fluttering around the flowers of berries excited me. My cousin was smiling, seeing me chasing bees with camera p:-)
The color of bees on the flower while they were having nectar was Lovely♪ And felt Thankful for my cousin with this sweet time. |
These Cherry blossom was taken places from my neighborhood (beside rice paddy and river) late last month. We have rain and strong spring wind last couple days and they all are called Hazakura "葉桜 leaves cherry-tree"; these two Chinese characters express the situation of the cherry tree after the blossom, "cherry tree in leaf".
I got so excited to take this blurry pictures of female Japanese Nightingale. They are famous with its chirping♫♫♫ (video from Y-tube)
This Brambling was taken in Feb. with the evening sunlight.
It is past 22:30 of April 8th. I've finished writing sentences for the pictures I prepared before. Like I said with previous post, I'll start visiting you soon. Have a wonderful and comfortable April♡♡♡

ReplyDeleteLeo loves strawberries
ReplyDeleteStrawberries and cherry blossoms, mmmmmm, delightful! I want to grow strawberries this year. Let's see if I do. :-)

Wow you went to strawberry picking. What a fun! I’ve done that before and had a really good time. I ate too much , though :-)
ReplyDeleteCherry blossoms are so beautiful. I would love to stroll around that area when in full blossom. Cherry trees around here are already Hazakura, too. It’s so wonderful you captured the photo of nightingale! I love their chirping. Feels like spring when I hear them :-)
Have a great new week, Miyako san!
Oh, I love this post ... the strawberries are close enough I think I can pluck them out of my computer screen. And I laughed out loud with the description of you chasing the bees ... I like your new header - so lovely!
ReplyDeleteI could listen to the nightingale all day ... thank you for including the video!
Your photo are just beautiful. They take my breath away!! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI love blossom time, here in Normandy we have cherry, apple, hawthorn and quince gracing our garden this week. Enjoy those delicious looing strawberries.
ReplyDeleteHappy Mosaic Monday.
beautiful!
ReplyDeleteNothing tastes better than a freshly picked strawberry. They are so sweet tasting. I love when they first show up at the farmers market. Cherry trees are so lovely when they blossom. Always fun to see "your" birds. Be careful chasing bees! Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteI understand the meaning of 'Hazakura' perfectly and wish there was an English word a word that means the same thing. (this is a memory from when we used to live in Oregon where Spring winds and rain would quite often blow down the blossoms on our flowering trees).
ReplyDeleteStrawberries are the most delicious fruit -- and easy to pick, especially when they are growing the way yours are in that picture. (We used to pick our own, but now that I am older I let other people do it for me )).
Beautiful arrangements of all your beautiful birds and flowers; your posts always bring a smile to my face and lift my spirits.
How delightful Miyako! Where I live the strawberries are on the ground, so at places to pick them, I have to bend down or squat - not as nice as here! Your flower blossoms are gorgeous - these are the views that are so well known for Japan!Thank you for showing us these beautiful sights of your country to All Seasons! Have a lovely week:)
ReplyDeleteI always look forward to seeing the frames and mosaics you put together with your photographs! Love the cherry blossoms and those strawberries. It's fun to catch a bee at work too! Enjoy your week dear one. Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteHello Miyako,
ReplyDeleteThe strawberries look delicious. I was wondering how they could be so early; then I noticed they were grown in a greenhouse. How sweet they must have tasted. The blossoms on the cherry tree are so pretty. In studying the characters, the one on the right looks like all the leaves blown off the trees and floating in the air.
Have a wonderful week,
Lorrie
Oh, the strawberries grow in a greenhouse, I'm sure they tasted divine! Your cherry trees in bloom take my breath away. Such a pity that rain and wind have shortened their blooming time. Wishing you a lovely week Miyako.
ReplyDeleteStrawberries and cherry blossom, what a treat. Delightful photos as usual.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures! Blossoms and strawberries. We're still waiting for Spring in southeastern Alberta, so it is a treat to see your photos.

Dearest Miyako,
ReplyDeleteOh, what a lovely sight those greenhouses with strawberries. Even though they're not covered with glass, they did remind me of my Dad's greenhouses for lettuce, gherkins, cucumbers and tomatoes!
And the Japanese cherry blossoms are heavenly; the BEST in the entire world.
Sending you hugs,
Mariette
Hello Miyako,
ReplyDeleteWe also have a cherry orchard from Japan, next to Amsterdam! Now they are all in bloom! Half of the trees have Japanese names and the other half have Dutch names!
A real blessing! We still have to wait for strawberries ... :)
Have a nice day!
Nothing like fresh strawberries. We are also enjoying them at this time of year. Thank you for linking up today and have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to have strawberry picking and cherry blossom at the same time, two things that make me happy!

ReplyDelete...Hi Miyako, it's so nice to have you here this week, please stop back again. We will have to wait until June for strawberries and the cherries should make their show next month. Enjoy your weekend.
