Nori (Seaweed) Store etc;

Nori Store where we always buy*
This store is the client company of the bank where my husband worked until he retired. We call Nori "gohanno otomo" which means Good Companion with Rice.
Besides having with plain rice adding soy sourse, used to make Onigiri and Makizushi. (←link-page will give you the idea what they look like).  Very sweet memory waiting and helping when my mother made for us when young.   Nori also can be good item for Summer and Year-end Gifts for Japanese.
*Entrance and Inside of the store*

Birds I found recently
The male Japanese Pheasant was walking under the tree in front of my house♪ Other Birds I found on the same day, during our detour way back home. Wished the flying away doves picture taken much better p-;)

Gifted  pictures of Arranged Flower
My husband lady keyboard player friend took these pictures at the Tea Ceremony she attended. I really am grateful for her thoughts♡♡♡

I really appreciate your sweet comments ♫♫♫   I'm thinking to take off posting for a short while (a couple of week or so).  Wish to start visiting you from tomorrow☆☆☆
Have a Beautiful Autumn or Spring  Days.
And Wishing you a Wonderful coming Halloween ♧♧♧

  3. Dearest Miyako,
What a lovely photos you show us here.
Telling you the truth, every day I eat several of those Nori sea weed sheets (small individual ones) as a snack and i use with my rice cake and mixed unsalted nuts with green tea. A healthy snack all together.
Oh, all those yummy Japanese dishes you shown via the 2 links... Made me mouth water!
LOVE the Japanese Pheasant, so beautiful in his dark colors!
Indeed, very thoughtful gift, that picture with the flower arrangement around.
    Sending you hugs,

  5. Love your subtle blue header for this week! The pheasant is beautiful. Now I have seen this bird, I don't know if I can eat pheasant.
Oh my, you celebrate Halloween also in Japan? Do you also import pumpkins, like I heard from an All Season blogger in Australia? Wishing you an adventurous (not the spooky halloween kind!) week, Miyako:)
Thaks for linking to All Seasons!

  6. That looks lovely Nori store! Nori is really gohanno otomo :-) I love onigiri!
Beautiful photos of birds! Pheasant is gorgeous! The arranged flowers are gorgeous, too. The cake shop did great decoration again! I love the cute black kitty :-)
I wish you a fun Halloween, Miyako san. We are planning to do nothing here :-) Have a great new week!
