*First Kind of Ship for me *
I've never seen nor heard of this ship called "Dredger"
I found this ship at the harbor of the big company in our city. When I asked about this ship to my husband, he told me that it is called "浚渫船, shunsetusen"; I had no idea what kind of ship this is. It's a vessel fitted with a special machine that is used for the purpose of gathering up bottom sediments. He said that there was a transaction with the company at the bank where he used to work.
*Birds
and Flowers*
These Redstart and Japanese White-Eye were from late spring this year. Summer doesn't seem the season for bird watching :-)
A kind of succulent plant (cactus, maybe) is another gifted flower from my husband lady key-board player friend. Sure Unique Flower it has. And Yellow Orchid from the Exhibition.
*About the trouble with Photbucket* I could fix or change many black notifications into link page tags etc in the sidebar. (It was a miracle to find this page, which we can make Tag for image link display). So sorry for the wide width. Well, I couldn't replace or remove the line in between the posts, I wish I could. No idea about the html... Thinking to ask the professional later.
We are having tough summer weather in my area.
Take Care and Wishing to See You Soon;

I like the little yellow smiling planter with the succulent - very cute! Enjoyed your post today - it's like a breath of fresh air.
ReplyDeleteHello Miyako! I would be curious too, and I'm happy you shared it with us. Your pictures are great and that water looks so inviting right now! Enjoy your week.
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of shunsetsusen before. Your husband is very knowledgeable!
ReplyDeleteThe succulent plant is very pretty. I love the adorable pot, too :-) And yellow orchid is gorgeous!
Glad you could fix the issue mostly. It must have been very frustrating! I hope you can get further assistance from the professional.
Have a great new week, Miyako san! xo
Dear Miyako, That dredger is impressive - I have never seen one! Many thanks for showing this powerful machinery with All Seasons!
ReplyDeleteThe wide width on your blog does not bother me, nor the line in between, but I can imagine it must be frustrating if you like to change it, and can't!
You are right, in the Spring I heard many more birds than now. Man and beast are kind of quiet with this 100 plus degree weather:)What are the temperatures where you live? Have a great week, hoping for you the weather behaves better! Jesh~
Hello Miyako,
ReplyDeleteThe dredging ships are enormous, aren't they? I've heard of them, but never seen one in action.
How pretty the Japanese White Eye bird is, and the yellow orchid. I hope that your summer weather improves.
Have a good week.
The dredger is fun to watch. The ship channels near me are dredged often so that the really large ships have safe passage and lately what has been dredged has been added to the beaches on Galveston Island. Let nothing go to waste! Maybe the birds decide to take the summer off! Ha! Lovely orchid. Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteSo interesting to see Orchid's Daily life each week, the dredger is huge! Love your pretty bird and floral mosaics. Happy Mosaic Monday from hot, very hot, Florida.
ReplyDeleteI like the yellow vase.
ReplyDeleteWorth a Thousand Words
I like those birds a lot.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awkward looking investigation ship - never seen on a photo before. Your tiny bird is so sweet and flowers tiny <3 & more striking! Wishing you a lovely day Miyako.
ReplyDeleteMiyako, enjoyed the birds and the flower photographs. Thanks for posting the information as to what the ship was doing. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI Really like the birds, especially the white-eye on the flower stem...that is a beautiful picture! Your birds probably don't like hot rainy weather... they will come back next fall! The dredge is interesting ... we have seen similar ones working before ... they keep harbors open so boats can get in.
ReplyDeleteYou got a great view of the dredger and great photos, too! I love your little birds. They look so bright and pretty.
ReplyDeleteDearest Miyako,
ReplyDeleteThat is funny that you show us a dredger as we just last week came back from a 4-night cruise on the Mighty Mississippi river. We too learned a LOT about all the transport via water. We had no idea before this cruise. Very interesting to learn about that.
Love your bird and orchid photos.
Hugs,
Mariette
Miyako, I love seeing the ship. New for me as I don't live near the sea. Thanks for linking up and have a great weekend!
ReplyDeletebeautiful photographs of the flowers and birds. Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteThe little birds are so pretty and your flowers beautiful. It's too hot here right now to get outside and walk but we have quite a few birds in our feeders today. Happy weekend sweet friend. Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteLovely shots, Orchid.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for joining us birders at I'd Rather B Birdin'.
ReplyDeleteHello Miyako, the Dredger is a neat looking ship. It was used in the harbor here too, to make it deeper for the larger ships. I love the cute birds, especially the sweet White-eye. It has been hot and humid here, I have not felt like going out looking for birds. Your flowers are gorgeous, I would love that beautiful orchid. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Sunday, enjoy your day and week ahead!
ReplyDeleteHappy Mosaic Monday thanks for your lovely photos
ReplyDeleteMuch love...
Wonderful little birds in Spring! and the flower in funny yellow pot, not sure, but I think is aloe plant. It looks like aloe plant (for more info and to verify you can read about on wikipedia or internet).
ReplyDeleteA nice day and new week!
Good morning. Beautiful photos as always. Enjoy the week ahead.
ReplyDeleteHi Orchid, lovely post full of interesting things, Photobucket is playing games with us both it seems! I hope to get things sorted out on Normandy Life very soon, thanks for your help and Happy Mosaic Monday.
