*First time to appreciate pressed flower*
I happened to to know the Exhibition at the department through TV held by the World Press Flower Association. The works sure are amazingly delicate and beautiful. Pity that there were lots of more works I'd like to introduce ;-)
Many tiny dyed flowers. |
*Japanese Wisteria (etc) from city park *
This young couple were walking their dogs at the park. |
*Heron from river-side tree *
This Heron was in the river when I found him on our way home from city office. Seeing me, flew away to this big tree and made funny poses p;-)
Please have a wonderful new week; Hope to visit you soon;

Good morning Orchid, the wisteria is so beautiful I can imagine how perfumed the air surrounding it is because my own wisteria in my front garden is wafting it's sweet fragrance my way. Delightful!
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe the artistry and dedication needed to press those tiny, tiny flower petals into such lovely works of art, true artistry indeed.
Wishing you a very happy MM and a wonderful week ahead. Maggie.
A happy Mosaic Monday. I thoroughly enjoyed your pressed flower sharing
ReplyDeletemuch love...
I've never known World Press Flower Association. I imagine there are many members from all over the world. The exhibits are amazing! I remember pressing flowers between pages of books as a child. I would enjoy making art works like them :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the photos of heron. Looks like he was showing off his funny poses to you :-) Blossom behind him is beautiful!
Have a wonderful new week, Miyako san! xo
Pressed flowers in art ... amazing! I'll have to do some more research as I'm fascinated! They are all lovely. The wisteria is stunning. Love the heron! Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Miyako.
ReplyDeleteThe pressed flower art is amazing. What patience it would take to carefully place each one of the flowers.
The white heron is also beautiful and bright with its feathers.
Oh, the wisteria - I can just imagine how wonderful it smells. We have a wisteria on our garden shed and it's beginning to bloom, too.
Have a lovely week.
The pressed flowers are exquisite.
ReplyDeleteArt of pressed flowers is so elaborate! The views of your park with wisterias and lupins and all the flowers are very pretty. Wishing you a lovely day Miyako!
ReplyDeleteHope all is well with you. I love love all that wisteria!
ReplyDeleteMy grandmother used to press flowers in-between pages of books, just for memories. But I never imagined making art from dried flowers ...beautiful, delicate work. Enjoyed your living flowers (wisteria is a favorite) and wonderful egret.
ReplyDeleteThese pressed flowers are so beautiful! I especially love the third row with the orange/red flowers:) The wisteria here is almost blooming in our garden (in the valley it already is)! The white flowers were in the right place when you saw the egret! Many thanks Miyako for sharing all this beauty with All Seasons. Wishing you a wonderful week!
