Rice Paddy. Tractor etc. ;

* Views from Rice Paddy and the Sound Floor of Late Parents' House*

On our way home from tidying work at my late parents' house, I saw some scenes of preparing for rice planting; plowing with tractor.
This tractor was resting beside the river bank.
Not the same one in the picture below.
Lovely to see the grandfather with his grandson (maybe) together.

I found these Pot Marigold  next neighbor's garden and this Eurasian penduline tit from the second floor when tidying up my old late parents' house.
Perched on the TV antenna,
SO happy to find this rare birdie for me as all our winter birds are gone :-)

My husband's band performance went well♪
Hope you'll have a wonderful weekend;

  7. Hello Miyako!:) Beautiful images of the shrike-like bird, it's a pretty bird seen from the front and back. Lovely flowers too, which look like some Ice plants we have here. You are probably right about the man and boy picture. It's a charming picture.
    Sending regards from Portugal.

  8. A little difference in coloring, but it looks a lot like our Loggerhead Shrike here in America.

    Love the rice paddy scenes and your beautiful flowers too.

  9. Such beautiful photos, Miyako! Hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Always enjoy your posts.

  10. Dearest Miyako,
    Preparing the rice paddies again is interesting and for us of course very common sights. But in Indonesia never with a tractor as the area worked was mainly very narrow. In the plains they used the water buffalo.
    What a lovely bird photos you could capture. That was a wonderful distraction from your task of tidying up the house of your late parents.
    Hope the sale will become as successful as your husband band's performance!
    Hugs and love from Georgia/USA,
