*60 years old trip with an old friend *
Our trip to Mt. Fuji area was really enjoyable one with fine weather except in the morning of the second day. I stayed 2 days at her house before and after the trip. We've been friends since junior high school.
When we talked about making a trip for celebrating '還暦Kanreki' 60 years old, we found both of us never visited this mountain. We agreed that we must see Mt. Fuji to have later years without regrets p:-)
Please let me skip lengthy explanation for the each pictures, wishing you can enjoy our famous mountain which is registered on world's cultural heritage.

ReplyDeleteHi Miyako san. Glad you had a great trip and the weather was mostly nice. You and your friend have been friends for such a long time! How wonderful to celebrate Kanreki together after all those years :-) I enjoyed the photos from your trip. Mt. Fuji is gorgeous in every photo. I especially love the one taken from your hotel room. Beautiful colors! I also love the area where you found buckwheat flour grinding. That looks nice place to stroll around.
ReplyDeleteI hope you got a good rest after the trip. Have a wonderful day, Miyako san xoxo
Hello Miyako!:) Beautiful scenes of Mt.Fuji, and I like them all, but particularly like the mountain image showing the sea, sailing boats, and the coastline, it's almost hidden by clouds but it looks beautiful. A nice selection of bird captures, including the ferry boat,:) blooms, and temple images. It's lovely that you met up with your friend to make a trip like this one.:)
ReplyDeleteMiyako, looks like such an enjoyable trip, and I'm jealous that I can't be there! Have a wonderful Easter Holiday time. God bless!

My nephews wife and two children are still in Japan with her mother and grandmother.
Their 5y old daughter is at school for a few months, immersed in culture and Japanese language!
They will return to New Zealand soon!
